Iran (Islam) vs : Everyone else

A persons faith comes from the word of God not their own opinions. If a person believes in something that is contrary to scripture that is sin, for whatever is not of faith is sin.
Yet many preachers preach that very message, the rapture. But it is still a false teaching. And they continue teaching it anyways.

It is "foolish" to believe something without having "evidence" as to why you believe it.

It is also "foolish" to teach something without having "evidence" of what you teach.

So I have evidence of working with angels, that's written in Scripture. As well as the results of the work that it has been done.

But I have another question, where does faith fall into this category of evidence?

I wonder at what point will those who really believe in pretribulation rapture, well actually believe that maybe they are wrong. Or maybe they will say that when the mark of the beast comes that it's not the tribulation. Or maybe when the tribulation itself is there, that they will say well this isn't the tribulation either. LOL

Bill, can I propose you open a thread discussing the rapture and not hijack this one.

There is a lot of evidence for a rapture event. There are arguments you cannot debunk that support it.

Heb 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

What evidence do you have for Angels?

Something happened, you attribute this to angels. That is you placing faith in scripture and angels being real. Others would explain what you saw happen, differently.

Lol , if you were there you would know

Just like the scripture is a pile of letters from individuals all bearing Witness to the fact that Jesus is Lord. I also have witnesses to the fact that the angels are real.

Faith is the substance of things hope for you say, what about God? Do you only hope that God is real or do you really believe that God is real? Because if you only hope that God is real then your faith is very weak.

:) I am a firm believer in angels Bill. I list seven miracles here Share your miracle.

I firmly believe we each have a guardian angel.

My point is simply that if I were to explain my miracle # 4 in my post for example to an atheist, they would say I was probably blind from an adrenalin rush.

Faith in God, Jesus and angels is like faith in gravity. Real, but still faith. 'Real faith' I guess :grinning:.

PS - Please share your miracle there, I would love to hear it!

Did you read the scripture I gave?

…..faith is the “evidence” of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1

Sometimes the simplest things are overlooked in the middle of doing the Lord's work.

I was working with a couple of priests who were doing a exorcism on a man.

To make a long story short, the problem was that the demon exhibited super strength and was cussing out the priest who was doing the exorcism. I told the priest in charge of it to ask for an angel to hold it down and to hold its tongue.

As soon as the priest did that we all watched as the person was obviously being pushed down in the bed and his tongue was being held outside of his mouth, we could all see his tongue being held. Although we could not see the hands of the angel. But there was an impression on the bed of a downward Force also.

Without Faith it is impossible to please YH :) it is written
