I came along to this site here at ( removed link) a vegetarian type of website. Last night I was crying my eyes out and I was complaining on why I have acne when others don’t have it and why I am I looking a bit older then my ages until I saw a site by mistake why’ll searching for health clue why’ll searching about what milk do on skin, because I was thinking it’ll help my skin conditions. But this site really explain that milk cause acne too!

But this site explain a shocking thing to me about milk that it contains some sort of hormones steroid and that 80% of cows are pregnant that contains that, but this is what we are drinking or eating out of dairy products! Right now I'm think of taking dairy products once a week or once in every two weeks. But I’m going to try not to eat meat or any dairys stuff for mouths because I want to see how my body reacts and just being a little vegetarian for a moment.

I believe we are the only society in the world where there is a constant milk supply after the age of four. Now I know the medical community says we need for our bones, however, cheese has calcium as well as many other sources.
Many folks in the US are lactose intolerant. Some is actually the lactose but a doctor friend said some is the hormones they give the cattle to make them grow. This is also why children are growing bigger compared with a century ago. Not sure it proves anything one way or another but gives one pause for thought.

That site also talks about that..:embarasse

There's a dairy right down the road from where I live (I'm in NE Alabama) whose cows are not given steroids or any other chemicals. They also don't homogenize the milk (i think). Maybe try to find one of those places. Milk is a good source of calcium, but you might want to be more deliberate about where your milk comes from.

i have alot of stomach problums ,and i drink alot of skimmed milk i find it very helpful ,although all of my family are huge soya fans.

There is a good and bad side to milk i only drink it because i find it helps me personally but from what i have studied soya milk wins for the health benfit side.

God Bless xxxxx

I'm worry to what I put in my temple which it belong to God but at the same time, I don't want to get hurt from any sickness or cancer or any damage in the body:embarasse

I did try some soya milk and I have to say I finished the carton but did not like it at all so not worth spending extra money that it costs as the taste was not enjoyable for me. Now coconut has a link to a site about it too. I may just have to check it out and see what it says.

God bless

Cause my thinkin` is soy detrimental to peoples mental health! LOL!

That pretty much sums me up

:shade:

Actually, soy milk has (maybe minor) benefits specifically for the lactose intolerant people, so long as they don't rely on it as a tremendous source of vitamins and minerals. If one eats truly healthy, they will get their vitamins and minerals from the other meals they eat.

A good way to eat is 6 smaller meals a day to, keeps your metabolism going all day, more evenly then 3 big meals.

*sigh* Soy is the devil ...and has about as many minor benefits as serving him ...

I wonder if we are equally hard headed Chad? Maybe someone should start a poll...LOL!

Mark 7:17-23 NKJV
17 When He had entered a house away from the crowd, His disciples asked Him concerning the parable. 18 So He said to them, “Are you thus without understanding also? Do you not perceive that whatever enters a man from outside cannot defile him, 19 because it does not enter his heart but his stomach, and is eliminated, thus purifying all foods?” 20 And He said, “What comes out of a man, that defiles a man. 21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, 22 thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness. 23 All these evil things come from within and defile a man.”

1 Corinthians 8 NKJV
Be Sensitive to Conscience
1 Now concerning things offered to idols: We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies. 2 And if anyone thinks that he knows anything, he knows nothing yet as he ought to know. 3 But if anyone loves God, this one is known by Him.
4 Therefore concerning the eating of things offered to idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is no other God but one. 5 For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as there are many gods and many lords), 6 yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.
7 However, there is not in everyone that knowledge; for some, with consciousness of the idol, until now eat it as a thing offered to an idol; and their conscience, being weak, is defiled. 8 But food does not commend us to God; for neither if we eat are we the better, nor if we do not eat are we the worse.
9 But beware lest somehow this liberty of yours become a stumbling block to those who are weak. 10 For if anyone sees you who have knowledge eating in an idol’s temple, will not the conscience of him who is weak be emboldened to eat those things offered to idols? 11 And because of your knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died? 12 But when you thus sin against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ. 13 Therefore, if food makes my brother stumble, I will never again eat meat, lest I make my brother stumble.

Ok...so soy is not REALLY the devil...:embarasse

But if Chad keeps preachin its good for you...i`m gonna have to trip him ...make him fall face first into a bucket of soy...he`ll be soy eatin his words then haha!

Just in case some are confused, me a Coconut have a good relationship where we like to joke around with each other. It gets a little sillier than some can comprehend sometimes lol. Must be the soy talking, at least on my part :P

I just people to not confuse soy milk and actual soybeans, which is rich in fiber and protein. A good snack as well.

The conclusion to the whole matter is, soy is decidedly bad for you, and Chad is definately full of beans (see he even admits it) HA!

:)

If I keep promoting soy in this thread coconut is going to email me a virus nicknamed "soyful" lol :P
