Is it possible that God transformed Lucifer into Satan and 1/3 of his angels into demons in order to teach and test us?

One reason I believe that this is POSSIBLE is because Jesus said that a good tree cannot bear bad fruit. Matthew 7:18.

If it's true that Lucifer and 1/3 of the angels rebelled against God, then it would seem that Jesus' statement is incorrect.

Of course, it's entirely possible that I lack understanding.

So in that paragraph that's connected to your quote Jesus is talking about false prophets and about the fact that you will be able to recognize them by the fruit that they bear.

Jesus is talking about the message or the words that they speak which is the fruit if the fruit is from God it would be sound but if it's not of the Lord then it is rotten
