Your Brother in Christ,

Yes! Most definitely.

@Jesus_is_LORD

May I refer you to the first book I read after my conversion?

God has a wonderful plan for your life

Description:
[[["""Why do 9 out of 10 children raised in Christian homes leave the Church?
Why do many professing Christians show little or no evidence for their faith?
Why do 80-90% of those making decisions for Christ fall away from the faith?

For decades, the world’s most popular gospel message has been drawing the lost by promising God’s wonderful plan for their life. But behind the facade of the “wonderful plan” message is the reality of the trials, temptation, and persecution that Jesus promised. How can we reconcile the two?

In this life-changing book, best-selling author Ray Comfort explores whether this common gospel approach aligns with real life—and with Scripture. The vital biblical principles he reveals will force you to reexamine your ideas about the gospel—and will teach you how to reach unbelievers the way God intended. A must-read for all who care about the lost.

“While reading this book my heart went into atrial fibrillation; it’s that good! After I finished it, I couldn’t sleep. There’s nothing like it. It is truly from God.”
—Bill Fay, author/evangelist (Share Jesus Without Fear)"""]]]

If I remember correctly it touches on the abundant life in Christ.

Hello @Jesus_is_LORD,

The life that we have 'naturally' (in the flesh) no matter what it's quality, no matter how long it lasts, is finite, it comes to an end, and then it goes back to the dust, from whence it came. Through Christ we have the hope of life eternal. For when He, Who died for our sins, was quickened into life, by the Spirit, and rose from the grave, thereby defeating the power of death, and ascended to God's right hand: When He, Who is our life 'appears', then shall we also appear with Him in glory.

So though our life in the flesh is finite still, there is no fear of death before our eyes, for we also have the promise of life, which is in Christ Jesus. RESURRECTION LIFE!!

We also now, have been quickened into life by the Spirit, and have access to the Father, through His precious Son, We also have the spirit of sonship, whereby we can call the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, 'Father'. For our sins have been forgiven, and we have been made meet to partake of the inheritance of the saints in the light. In Christ we are, 'accepted in the Beloved', having been presented before God, in Christ, as holy and without blame as He is, because we are 'in' Him. His righteousness has been imputed to us. Praise God!

I leave it to you, to tell me, if I have life abundant in Christ Jesus?
With such a wondrous hope in view
I live in wonder, love and praise.
In my spirit, which is His.
Regardless of my circumstances in the flesh.
BY FAITH.

Praise God!

Thank you
In Christ Jesus
our risen and glorified
Saviour, Lord and Head.

They wrote in Greek but thought as Hebrews and often used the word closest to what they were trying to say (most often followed by elaboration). For example, in John 1:1 John used the word logos to describe "the Word" but he was neither inferring He was the Greek logos nor was John borrowing from Greek Philosophia. He was calling Jesus the Memra-YHVH as understood by the pre-Christian Rabbis to be a Hypostasis of YHVH (whenever YHVH appeared or spoke to man it was the Memra in the Aramaic - see Targum Jonathan in the mid -1st century) and so john elaborates in the next few verses just what he means.

So in calling Him the logos it was not for the sake of the Greek hearers only (though they would understand better then gentiles centuries later) but was more directly speaking to the yet unbelieving diaspora Rabbis and people (who could read) that followed them.

John is telling them this man was also the Word, the Tabernacle in whom YHVH dwelt, i.e., His visible Glory (a concept the common Greek thinker could never grasp).

To add to what you shared, let's look at it this way.

Can we name one, just one character in the Bible that is lifted up as an example to follow, like
those in the hall of fame chapter in Hebrews (cloud of witnesses) who did not have it difficult?

How about

David?
Daniel in the Lion's Den?
Rahab, a life as a women of the streets?
Esther?
Peter?
John the Baptist?
James?
Mary the mother of Jesus?
Moses?
Noah?
Elijah?
Jeremiah?

But they certainly seemed to live abundantly
as their life was empowered by God's Holy Spirit to do great things.
They lived above the mere meeting of basic fleshly needs, and
they lived a life that was abundant in God's presence being with
them in the midst of the struggles.

Even pastors every one I have met in the last 5 years every one It seems to been a member of "GREEK Organizations"
And they got those symbols"GOAT heads" Statue , Triangle signs right in the church, Masons signs every where! When you walk in the Church, you know, you do not belong in there! :sob: Everywhere you go! They are everywhere!:sob: They are in your house in the car, in the store, They are every where!:sob: You can love those "Snakes and Vipers" wolves and Devils and demons and dogs, and Hogs all you want! The word Love cannot be the same as written in that Book!

Mister

the Bible says:

English Standard Version Jeremiah 9
Let everyone beware of his neighbor, and put no trust in any brother, for every brother is a deceiver, and every neighbor goes about as a slanderer.

New International Version
Do not trust a neighbor; put no confidence in a friend. Even with the woman who lies in your embrace guard the words of your lips.
Micah 7
…"The best of them is like a brier; the most upright is sharper than a hedge of thorns. The day for your watchmen has come, the day of your visitation. Now is the time of their confusion."

Psalm 55
"For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself
against me; then I would have hid myself from him:
But it was thou, a man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance.
We took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in company.":eyes:

PLOUGHBOY, and they think we cannot see who theses People are! \

Especially when someone tells you to hold hands with one of these!:( and have "Communion" and Fellowship! The leadership wants you to hold hands and Have communion drinking some wine and eating bread!:eyes: The Word OF GOD is running through your mind and soul!

"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership can righteousness have with wickedness? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness? 15What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? "

Deuteronomy 22:10
Do not plow with an ox and a donkey yoked together.:eyes:

1 Corinthians 5:9
I wrote you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people.

Ephesians 5
…"Test and prove what pleases the Lord. Have no fellowship with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. 12For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret.…"

New International Version
But now I am writing to you that you must not associate with anyone who claims to be a brother or sister but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or slanderer, a drunkard or swindler. Do not even eat with such people.

And The Pastors telling you sit down and Have "Communion drink some wine and Break some Bread" and praying over "The LORD Supper" and the word of GOD is talking to your soul. and these men and women around is sleeping with a new person every 2 months, because they are telling you what they are doing and bringing a new one to church every few months and your wife is and taking your children with them. to eat dinner at a restaurant on Mothers Day!
And your wife friend has got New Boyfriend and he said: How much is this going to cost me? I remember, the christian said; I want "BLACK BERRY" phone!:sob: They will tell you a lot "GOSSIPERS":eyes:

Then on another occasion a christian woman told my Wife. She do not go out with a man unless he al least spends a $100.00 on dinner!:eyes:

These are Profession Christian women! Respectable women in The Church, The state and The country and The community!

When you start sinning, Your tongue gets loose! Just give it time!

And I cannot give names, somebody on Here might turn me in. IF "JEZEBEL" ran "ELIJAH" out of TOWN! I do not have a chance! Especially when there is "WHOLE kingdom of JEZEBELS and AHABs! Backed up by the church and The politicians! elected officials!

I know many think this stuff is not true! You have no idea what kind of WORLD this is!

I am scared of The Church folks. Now get it right I did not say "FEARED them, I feared GOD, and He warned us to STAY away for such people who called themelves brother and sisters in Christ! Do Not EAT with them> Because They will corrupt us and contaminate us and open the door that demons can invade us.

But you do not have to believe me. heck you might be one trying to convince me to play around dangerous people. Like The woman said to me, you can come over my house my husband ain't home he will be back at the end of The week! I bet you do not believe a church woman leader told me that! well she did, But I had read Proverbs already!:sob:

I read the BOOK!:eyes: When I was young I thought are we reading the same Book! I was confused, the church was doing every opposite of the Bible everywhere I went. Even "tithes" the Bible do not teach us to pay Tithes!

"Then Jesus said to the man whohad invited Him, “When you host a dinner or a banquet, do not invite your friends or brothers orrelatives or rich neighbors. Otherwise, they may invite you in return, and you will be repaid. 13But when you host a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, and the blind,…"
To me this stuff is plain.

1“Be careful not to perform your righteous acts before men to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.2So when you give to the needy, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues [ CHURCH]and on the streets, to be honored by men. Truly I tell you, they already have their full reward."

I made it to page 80, I will continue later on today the 4 th. A very Good read and what I call a refresher course on The presenting "The Gospel According to Jesus Christ" and it helps stay on course when so many of our brothers and sisters in Christ has not known how to present it, by not been properly taught. And we need someone in view to know you are still on course. and to let you know you are not alone. and The temperature of "The STATE of THEOLOGY".

PloughBoy, thank you again my brother in Christ.

Let me take a step back and respond to your posted question. Firstly, I will start off by saying Jesus gave me life the first time at my birth in 1981. Then in 2018 Jesus gave me newness of life, again at age 36. That very same year, three months later after my new birth, in my house, Jesus came in and filled me with His Spirit.

My wife was there, and witnessed the entire scene, while I was holding her, after I shouted and praised God for her repentance. She now opines that I simply had a psychotic break - I would agree in a sense - but that I had a psychotic breakTHRU "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind". My mind was not sound until Jesus claimed me and gave me the Spirit. As for power, I have never had the courage nor ability to live in righteousness - I had no Identity, no Head, no Ruler to submit to, so I could only concede to the adversary. And as for love?! This world has got that ALL twisted up - so nuking all that and starting afresh!

Since that encounter with the Spirit, I have been learning the ways of Jesus, about life, real life, being contrasted by the things and ways of this world, and the ways of my old nature of which still grieves me as somehow it still remains in this mortal body. I see the ways in which I used to walk were of death and darkness. He didn't kill me all those years! I'd have been thrown in hell, all those years He spared my life! The programming of this world's code has to be undone, unlearned and replaced by the truth; the Spirit and Word being my guide...

However, wherever and in whatever GOD wants me that is what I'll be. Sometimes I don't get it or I don't want to get it and so He disciplines me and I learn the hard way. I do recognize that even at first when He took my 'isms', idolatries and generational curses away, that that was only the beginning of my walk with Him and isn't what this is all about, though it is part of it. The truth is unraveling and showing me its glory progressively, day by day, ascending to new heights. This is the best way I can describe my abundant life in Christ. Seems sometimes like I am in the twilight zone!
