Clergy everywhere for 2,000 years have taught John 1:1 reads "In the begging was Jesus and Jesus was with Jesus and Jesus was Jesus".
And the masses have BOUGHT that!
Even to it says twice (vs 2) that he was WITH God!

Theos means also devine, and well a God, or a Godlike one.
Ex 7:1- And Jehovah said to Moses, See, I have made thee God to Pharaoh; and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet. - Darby
God called others God, as in Angels sent to represent Him.

So why do they ignore the Bible?
The 'Trinity' dogma is responsible!

But, let's for a change, actually listen to what CHRIST had to say about himself and his God and Father- in the entire book of John!

John 1:1; In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:2; He was in the beginning with God.
John 1:3; All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.

Jesus is the Word. Jesus was with God, and Jesus was God. All things were created by Jesus. (all things were created by God, Gen 1:1)

John 1:14; And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Everything.

In the beginning the word was God. So since God has no beginning or end it cannot be everything.

In the beginning was the plan, objective, reason. That beginning is the beginning of the creation of the visible realm.
It's creation had/has a purpose and that is to bring forth love from LOVE.
The plan, objective, reason was with God, and was God.

The plan, objective, reason became flesh (Jesus) and resides at the right hand of God and has been declared to be a God by the Father.
Thus fulfilling the plan, objective, reason for the creation of the visible.
Good thing is it's just getting started.

"For since by man came death, by MAN came also the resurrection of the dead."

Looking at Jesus who is the MAN that brought in the resurrection of the dead as the first begotten of the DEAD and where He is now, and what He is now, it should be obvious
where those that have been born again eventually end up.
A continuation of the plan, objective, reason that was at the beginning.

How do we get to the conclusion that Jesus is the word of God?
As opposed to the first completion of the word of God which was to bring forth another like unto God. So alike that they are almost indistinguishable?

First Christ gave testimony about himself, and his God~

John 3:16-
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17-For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18- He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten son of God.

3:33-He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.
34 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the spirit by measure unto him.
35 The Father loveth the son, and hath given all things into his hand.

Who can give GOD all things? AND, who can send GOD?

John5:18-Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.

Did Christ confirm this?

19- Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the son likewise.
20- For the Father loveth the son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.
21- For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the son quickeneth whom he will.
22- For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the son:
23- That all men should honour the son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.
24- Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on Him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
25- Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the son of God: and they that hear shall live.
26- For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the son to have life in himself;
27- And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the son of man.
28- Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29- And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

Pay ATTENTION~

30- I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

He answered THAT: every Jew knew what a son was!

5:31- If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true.
32- There is another that beareth witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witnesseth of me is true.

Jesus says it is GOD that bore witness- SOME ELSE other than himself!

35 The Father loveth the son, and hath given all things into his hand.

Luke 12:32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Fathers good pleasure to GIVE YOU THE KINGDOM.

Just as ALL things have been given into the hands of Jesus. They will be given unto the other sons as well according to Luke 12:32 for Jesus' Father is also ours.

John 5:36- But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.
37-And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard His voice at any time, nor seen His shape.

His Father he later called him the only TRUE God! (John 17:3)
AND, the crowds saw JESUS! (NOT God Himself)

There is a BIG difference between being "The Son of God" to be being "a son of God."

30- I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.
Jesus can nothing of his own neither can the Father do anything on his own without the Son of God.

Joh 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

His Father he later called him the only TRUE God! (John 17:3)
AND, the crowds saw JESUS! (NOT God Himself)
Joh 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

Joh 17:5 And now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had with you before the world existed.

John 6:37- All that the Father gives me will come to me; and him who comes to me I will not cast out.
38- For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of Him who sent me;
39- and this is the will of Him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me,
but raise it up at the last day.
40- For this is the will of my Father, that every one who sees the son and believes in him should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

Jesus constantly said he didn't come for his OWN purposes! AND that he had received them from GOD!

God didn't come Himself / Themselves!
