Knowing Things Before They Happen....

How do I know these things? I don't know but believe it's the Holy Spirit showing me these things -- to what end? I've got no idea. YMMV!

Be careful because our enemy the devil loves to play these games and get you thinking it's God.

Agreed.. I will admit that my walk of faith is far from standard, but I've felt the overpowering presence of the enemy several times since being born again. I know in both of these cases the Lord allowed me to understand and feel first hand the power of the enemy and I know in these times that the power he was throwing at me wasn't much -- it was metered. But, it painted the icky picture I needed to understand at the time. I am weary of to whom I'm hearing from...!

Power of the enemy?
The devil has no power over a born again believer unless they give it to him.

1 Peter 5:8
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Ephesians 6:11
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Matthew 28:18

And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

Ephesians 6:16
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
Fiery Darts come as Thoughts which include Feelings and can include smell.

2 Corinthians 11:14

Far to many Christians are tricked because it seems and feels religious and had scriptures.
