Lazy church cause of nations problems

Only because of the blood, of the Lamb, we now have been given access to God. Only because of the blood, of the Lamb, does God even consider us.

All praise glory and honor be unto God. Amen
I'm happy to say that I know God well enough to know that he loves all of his children very much. And yes everything was created for his son Jesus

Yes God is love; and loves those who walk in righteousness. So go, be Christ like, tell them the truth in love. Preach the gospel to the broken and contrite hearts. Only God knows, maybe you won't be a martyr in Him, by Him, for Him; or maybe you will. Praise God, what a way to go.

yes...preach with impact... outside the stronghold.
sure is quiet outside...

so now I believe we can say the church isn't lazy, but rather scared.
That's right they fear what man will do to them.
But I say fear not what man can do to you, for once he has killed he can do no more;
but I will tell you whom you shall fear; fear Him. Once He has killed, has the power to cast into hell. Yea, fear HIM.

Yep, no lazy church; just unlearned followers (babes) and those who do know...are in fear of mans evil deeds.

ALL praise, glory and honor be unto God. Amen

I don't fear anyone.

I've actually been having this conversation with a few friends of mine, talking about our security in God. And what I mean by that, is if you're at dinner with friends, in a public restaurant and you're talking about Jesus and everything. Then other people come in and sit down next to you, do you suddenly get quiet. And the question that runs through my mind is why. I mean, I do understand about being respectful, but on the other hand don't just become quiet because you don't want to embarrass yourself talking about Jesus or maybe that you're insecure about talking about Jesus. Because this is the very thing that Jesus talks about about not being insecure, about not being afraid to speak up when it's needed.

I did try speaking here with impact, about the greater glory of God. His works, miracles, and life in the Spirit. But because the faith here is so weak, they could not believe God could do such wonders. Many members of Talk Jesus have replaced thier faith based religion with only a confirmation based religion. I find that to be sad.

How can those who study the scripture only believe God is limited to what is written within the pages? Even the Apostles stated ( and i pointed this out a number of times ) that only a little of what Jesus said and did was written in the Gospels. Jesus Himself even states, others will come and do even greater works than He has done.

So knowing what both Jesus and the Apostles both said in the scripture, how can anyone believe " if it is not wriiten in the scripture it is not of God" <<<< there has never been a more false statement than that

Yep I am dealing with a pastor that is the same way. He believes everything in this book (Bible), he says; but can not believe or receive the testimony I carry.

You see, they have never experienced any supernatural blessing of the Spirit and if it hasn't happened to them then it doesn't exist. So yes I know what your saying, as I am dealing with it myself.

He is a good cross preacher; he has that down pat. But preaching the cross every week to a saved congregation has little to no impact. He has nothing else because he knows nothing else. He is man taught, and it shows.

I really do not complain of old preachers too much, as they only teach what they are taught. There is a purpose for them as well.

If anything, i feel sorry for them, there so much more.

The Scripture is both spiritual and physical at the same time. This is because Jesus is anyways both.

Catholics believe in the bread and wine - transformed into the body and blood. Now the protestants don't teach this, nor understand it. But i do find it amusing (personally) because they too recieve the "spiritual" eucharist. Or the Word becoming flesh within you, in your hearts.

Oddly enough, neither the Catholics nor the Protestants understand this concept. Yet it is right infront of them, written in the Scripture. As Jesus forgave the man who was dropped through the roof. And at the protest of the Pharisees. Jesus then says, "is it easier to say, your sins are forgiven you, or get up and walk"

Spiritual and physical walking hand in hand.

When we recieve Jesus into our hearts, we are already recieving the body and the blood.

Preach the Gospel to every creature.
Lol I already do that, as I cannot stop the Spirit from moving in me. I find myself preaching driving down the road, preaching when I'm in the house by myself, preaching constantly to people that I meet in the strangest places, and even preaching as I walk down a path in the woods talking to the trees and the creatures I see.
