[The Growing Pains actor has a new children’s book entitled As You Grow, which centers around themes of faith and family. As a part of the promotion of the book, the publisher, Brave Books, has reached out to over 50 libraries, attempting to schedule a story hour. Thus far they have received only rejections.

While not all libraries gave a reason for rejecting the program, the Rochambeau Public Library in Providence, Rhode Island told Brave Books, "No, we will pass on having you run a program in our space. We are a very queer-friendly library. Our messaging does not align."

Cameron pointed out that many of these libraries host drag queen story hours and LGBT-focused programming, saying, "Publicly funded libraries are green-lighting ‘gender marker and name change clinics’ while denying a story time that would involve the reading of a book that teaches biblical wisdom. We have to start fighting back, or we will lose our kids and this country." ]

Very real and a problem we must deal with.
Libraries until recently were places of learning for all people of all ages.
They rely largely on funding and donations and the less money, the less staff who get paid less.
That was designed to control access to learning.
I don't have the time or money but people could start their own libraries.

I know for a fact, that most citizens of The "United States of America" do no know their "Constitution of the United States of American"

1. This is Not a Christian Country, it is country that has christians in it.
2. it is a country by its own constitution for "The rights of Freedom of all religion" that means all religion rights, for witchGraft, devil worshipping and any kind of religion one chooses. That means the religion of Christianity in not the laws of This Country and christian do not rule the United States of America. and the people, if the majority in power do not want something, it will not or should not come to pass, if they want Same sex, let them have it. IF they or other genders want something in their libraries let them have it, You see we who are "The SONS of GOD" have been told, Our Citizenship is not here and we are commanded, to seek the Things in eternity and Not the things on planet earth, and we believe it, and go against, is being in violation to "Our GOD and FATHER, and we will be chastise and others will not be chastise and run free to do as they please.

But some are trying to draw us in, that we may be in rebellion against our own creator and Our FATHER WHO IS "THE ALMIGHTY GOD" WE Resist those who try do draws us away to riotous living. No matter who they maybe, for we must be wise as serpents and harmless as Doves.

This is not our world, we who are The "Sons of GOD' are not to set our Hearts and minds here no matter what Religious rulers and religious institutions may say. and lure us away from The True GOD.

Simple as that, Christianity does not rule or set the Laws For "The United States of America" USA is a "Democracy" and not a "Theocracy" The USA does not have a "Theocratic Rule" and God has not ordain it to have one. So this country is ruled by a Government that represent all people and not Christianity alone, and the word of God Has stated in The English language clearly and we are not in "Israel" when "GOD" presented the "ISRAELITES" laws, to obey in The lands he sent them in. and as the "Children of GOD" those who are under and "Born into "The NEW COVENANT of Grace and Mercy' and so have receive that "Mark on Our Foreheads' and "The Laws of GOD written on Our "BEING" or gathered STAMP" and Sealed" we are to obey and be>>>

That is truly sick. And sad /dangerous for our kids. Drag queens , etc have no place on the public libraries.

IMO, given the facts, evidence, and what we see they need to be removed from public until they are permanently fixed.

the children are under severe attack from satan, and unless their parents have grounded them in God's Word, the confusion they must be facing with the peer pressure to accept this evil vile stuff is just terrible demonic and warned about in the bible. God help are children to see and discern

Children can sense what something is wrong. It's the parents and other adults who need to take a stand for biblical morality..and put a stop to all that garbage and sickness.

You can say that, but they're not doing too good at the voting booth to get rid of the darkness that's in the capital now

Evil will never be removed by any legal or non-violent method. That is a fact.

There is the case of Jesus Christ, who rejected violence and lawlessness, conquering evil by offering up his life as a sacrifice.

That isn't going to stop evil.
In fact, God gave his angels armor and weapons b/c you don't fight evil with tolerance and understanding.
Violence is not the optimal choice but realistically most options are going to happen.

If you were to say evil cannot be removed by evil I would agree with that. But if you say evil cannot be removed by good then you are wrong

Gandhi wasnt Christian, but he was deeply inspired by Jesus' teaching, especially the sermon on the mount.

Here's a famous story about Desmond Tutu told by Jim Wallis: oppressive forces of evil overcome by trust in God, bravery, a sense of humour and dancing.

The former South African archbishop Desmond Tutu used to famously say, “We are prisoners of hope.” Such a statement might be taken as merely rhetorical or even eccentric if you hadn’t seen Bishop Tutu stare down the notorious South African Security Police when they broke into the Cathedral of St. George’s during his sermon at an ecumenical service. If you were to say evil cannot be removed by evil I would agree with that. But if you say evil cannot be removed by good then you are wrong

Ghandi wasn't a Christian.
He is not one I would consider a peer in Christianity.
God used us at times in history by His command to fight and stop evil. Not the optimal choice but A choice.

He is not one I would consider a peer in Christianity.
God used us at times in history by His command to fight and stop evil. Not the optimal choice but A choice.

So? God has used many people in different capacities.
Whether or not they become a Christian IS the factor.
Doing "good" is highly flawed anyway b/c of flawed, limited mortal human minds prone to sin and disobedience.

The factor in this discussion is whether it is possible to overcome evil without violence. Gandhi showed that it is possible.

An option not THE option.
Deescalation works but many times it does not. Given this world, Evil IS the majority.
In fact, doing nothing will only cause greater harm and being a Christian or not is irrelevant.
We are commanded to protect self and those who cannot for themselves.
Which is worse? Unchecked evil doing greater harm and death or that one loss? Easy answer.
