So?
An option not THE option.
Deescalation works but many times it does not. Given this world, Evil IS the majority.
In fact, doing nothing will only cause greater harm and being a Christian or not is irrelevant.
We are commanded to protect self and those who cannot for themselves.
Which is worse? Unchecked evil doing greater harm and death or that one loss? Easy answer.
It seems your position is shifting. At first you said "Evil will never be removed by any legal or non-violent method. That is a fact."

And in the last post, you've said that deescalation does work.

No. You misunderstood.
There are multiple options in anything.
Hate it all you want, sometimes, many times in fact, violence IS the only answer. No, it's not full on war, or massive firefights but if that violence causes harm to the evil and the possibility of stopping that happens then great.
"Evil will never be moved by legal or non-violent methods." True. Evil doesn't care about legal nor non-violence. It will pretend to but if people are too blind to see or have largely misunderstood the reality of it then they too will be hurt by it.
Are you so ready to die that you'd leave those you care about without protection?
Only God knows who believes and follows him and someone else's hypothetical death would be on you.

So? God has used many people in different capacities.
Whether or not they become a Christian IS the factor.
Doing "good" is highly flawed anyway b/c of flawed, limited mortal human minds prone to sin and disobedience.
When you play a game, any game, ( checkers, chess, cards) is God present in the game?

God cares for all his children, not just a few.

If he did now care, why then wash the whole earth (i.e. Noah)? If God did not care about everyone, why send His Son for all mankind?

Violence as an earthquake or volcano is one thing, violence as man against man is never acceptable

  • God is present all the time, everywhere. Don't try to "figure" it out b/c he is far beyond human understanding.
  • Of course. Even those who reject Him and will go to Hell. Love and care doesn't negate His commandments, rules, and judgment.
  • No one can come up with The answer rather one from inference. Likely things got so bad and as He is the Creator, Judge, and Authority then His decision to do it is Right and Just. Any opinion it was "Bad" is irrelevant.
In fact, He has every right to judge any of His Creation when and how He sees fit.
  • Same here, His standards are The Standards. Jesus' death and blood was required.

So human in your thinking , i am glad God is God and you are not the judge
