Psalm
4 For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.
5 Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.
6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth,

2 Corinthians 5:6-10
6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

((When a Christian dies their spirit is taken to heaven and given a heavenly body like Jesus body after the resurrection. He could eat and be touched but could go through walls.))

Luke 16
19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:
28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

((Jesus did come back from the dead and many people still don’t believe.))

Ephesians 4:6-8
6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

((Jesus took the Old Testament saints such as Lazarus to heaven at his resurrection.

The rich man is still in hell waiting for his final judgment at the great white throne judgment described in Revelation 20:11-15))
[h=2][/h] [h=2]Revelation 20[/h] 11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Revelation 20:10
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. ((Life never ends)))

Have the beast and the false prophet ever had or will they ever have Life? Without Jesus, who is Life, the Life, is not everyone dead? You say that Life never ends, but for the ones you named it would seem that it has never begun.

Ezekiel 28:13-16
13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

The antichrist is born as any man and will be innocent till he reaches the age of accountability.

Yes, "till iniquity was found"! Sounds like Adam before the Fall, no?

Then along with all of us: dead until Jesus made a way for "whosever will".

"...Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead." Matt 8:22

Where do you find "accountability" in scripture?

Where do you find "accountability" in scripture?

Isaiah 65:20
20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.

In the kingdom age the age of accountability will be 100 years old. I don't know of a verse that describes it that well in the New Testament.

So you agree with all pagan religions, spiritualists, and new agers, that man is naturally immortal?

  • All mankind die physically
  • All mankind will either die spiritually or go to hell or the live spiritually in heaven, both are for all eternity.
  • Did you have something else in mind?

The Isaiah 65:20 verse is really a metaphor. Is it written anywhere in God's Word that a child literally died at 100 years old? No. And we certainly know that in God's future Kingdom, meaning after the final Judgment, no one will die, because death is to go into the "lake of fire" along with Satan and the wicked and be no more (Rev.20-21).

During Christ's coming thousand years reign, only those of the "first resurrection" will not be held accountable. All others in that time will be under judgment, and still able to die at the "second death".

The "second death" of Rev.20 is described as being cast into the future "lake of fire". The "lake of fire" is a one-time event to destroy wickedness and death forever. Even the abode called hell is to go into that "lake of fire" per Rev.20. And since that "lake of fire" destroys the devil, it means the destruction of one's spirit and soul, not their flesh body. Death of the flesh body is the first death, death of one's spirit with soul is the "second death".

Per Apostle Paul in 1 Cor.15, to have everlasting Life through Christ Jesus one's body of corruption must be changed to a body of incorruption (i.e., the "spiritual body" Paul taught there); AND... one's "mortal" part must put on immortality. Paul nor the KJV translators specifically told us what "this mortal" part is, but it is different than our body of corruption, and it is different than the body of incorruption or spiritual body. It is one's soul which is attached to our spirit. Our soul is our real person, the part that makes each one of us different from each other, and the part which is responsible for our being accountable. Our spirit is attached to our soul, and our spirit is what our spiritual body is made up of.

But the "spiritual body" is still just a body, an outward image. In 1 Cor.15 Paul defined that spiritual body as the "image of the heavenly". Even Satan and his angels have that image of the heavenly, so will the wicked after Christ's coming. In the heavenly no one manifests with a flesh body. The flesh body is of this present world time, not of the world to come. This is why even our Lord Jesus' flesh body was transfigured to the heavenly resurrection type body which is how He could suddenly appear to His disciples out of nowhere, and disappear right in front of them also, all the while retaining the marks of His crucifixion in remembrance of His conquering death for us upon His cross.

Solomon well understood this when in Eccl.12:5-7 he showed what happens to our flesh at death, and also what happens to our spirit going back to God Who gave it. He even revealed a secret of how our spirit is attached to our flesh body while here on earth in this world, by a "silver cord". When that silver cord is parted, our flesh body goes back to the earthly matter where it came from. But our spirit goes on to God in the heavenly. Apostle Paul gave us more info about our soul part with our spirit when he showed the body of incorruption (or spiritual body) is not the only part that goes back to God, with "this mortal" (soul) which must put on immortality to have everlasting Life.

When God said to Adam and Eve, "If ye eat of the tree of knowledge ye shall die", was He speaking to the whole Adam, the whole Eve, or just their bodies? Did the whole Adam disobey, or just his body?

Isaiah 65:20
20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.

In the kingdom age the age of accountability will be 100 years old. I don't know of a verse that describes it that well in the New Testament.

Neither do I. I would not say you are definitely wrong about accountability, but if you please, how do you support a belief in accountability at a certain age without scriptures for the here and now? Why believe in it? Thanks for your time and response.

We know that babies will go to heaven when they die because King David said he would go to see his dead baby. Some people may never mature to the age of accountability. There is not a set time or age.

2 Samuel 12:22-23
22 And he said, While the child was yet alive, I fasted and wept: for I said, Who can tell whether GOD will be gracious to me, that the child may live?
23 But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.

Our spirit with soul is not naturally immortal.

This is why Apostle Paul showed in 1 Cor.15 that "this mortal" must put on "immortality" through Christ Jesus to have everlasting life. Those still subject to the "second death" after Christ's return also reveals those have a spirit with soul still in a mortal liable to die condition.

While you at it: could you please give your interpretation of: Colossians 3:1 and Ephesians 2:6 ?

Some people may never mature to the age of accountability. There is not a set time or age.

Well, actually there is a set time. Ultimately it will be during Christ's future "thousand years" reign.

For many in that future time, it will be their FIRST opportunity to 'hear' and 'believe' The Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Like Apostle Peter said, our Heavenly Father is longsuffering; it's not His will that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Pet.3:8).

When our Lord Jesus returns, everyone... including the unjust, will 'know' beyond all doubt who He really is. They all will know who the real God is and will be without excuse. It's because our Lord Jesus will be here among us, literally and in person. And Satan will be locked in his pit prison for that thousand years so as to not deceive any soul about that.

Yet we know per the end of Zechariah 14, that some in the nations will still... be rebellious against Christ Jesus then, even when He is fully manifested to them in Jerusalem in the future. They will refuse the requirement then to go up to Jerusalem from year to year to worship Him and keep the feast of tabernacles, and will cause rains to cease upon their lands. I find this rebellion for that time amazing, especially since our Lord Jesus Christ will have revealed Himself to all in that time.

In Revelation 3:9 our Lord Jesus also pointed out how those of His enemies, the "synagogue of Satan", will come to bow at the feet of His saints (because our Lord Jesus will standing next to His). Those may bow to Christ in that time, but it does not necessarily mean they will accept Him as their Saviour. Some of them will still reject Him and instead choose to perish in the lake of fire at the end of that thousand years.

Matthew 25:31-46
31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

After the tribulation all the people who survive will come before King Jesus to be judged. All the unrighteous will be cast into the lake of fire. They will not get a chance to be saved during the 1000 year kingdom age.

Thank you for your response. It's not much, but is much more than others have offered. God does have answers to every question for every person if and when they are needed. So far, I guess I don't need a better answer. I will chew on it. May God richly keep you and bless you.

Well, you've got a different Bible than I have then, because our Lord Jesus didn't go into the details of His future "thousand years" reign there in Matthew 25. But He did in other Scriptures, like Revelation and the Old Testament prophets. Your Bible must have left those Scriptures out.

So why didn't you address the Zechariah 14 Scripture that I spoke of that reveals the leftovers that come up against Jerusalem on the last day being required to go up to Jerusalem and worship The KING, our Lord Jesus Christ? and how some nations in that future time will refuse to do that and the penalty will be no rain upon their lands?

This is talking about that future time after Christ's coming...

Isa 29:18-24
18 And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness.
19 The meek also shall increase their joy in the LORD, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.
20 For the terrible one is brought to nought, and the scorner is consumed, and all that watch for iniquity are cut off:
21 That make a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare for him that reproveth in the gate, and turn aside the just for a thing of nought.
22 Therefore thus saith the LORD, Who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob, Jacob shall not now be ashamed, neither shall his face now wax pale.
23 But when he seeth his children, the work of Mine hands, in the midst of him, they shall sanctify My name, and sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and shall fear the God of Israel.
24 They also that erred in spirit shall come to understanding, and they that murmured shall learn doctrine.
(KJV)

Those that "erred in spirit shall come to understanding"? and those "that murmured shall learn doctrine"?

Yep! That is what is going to happen during Christ's future "thousand years" reign ruling with His servants with a "rod of iron" over those who erred and murmured.

Don't you guys ever actually read... your Bible?

Zechariah 14:16-19
16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.
18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

After the 1000 year kingdom the unsaved children of the surviving righteous people who entered the kingdom will follow Satan in the rebellion against Jesus.

2 Corinthians 5:1-5
1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle((our mortal body)) were dissolved((dead)), we have a building of God, an house((new spiritual body like Jesus)) not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:

(( When we die our spirit will be taken to heaven and we will be given a new body like Jesus had after the resurrection. We will be able to eat and be touched and go through walls. At the resurrection of the church our new heavenly body will be put on over our mortal body that has been changed by having the sin nature removed.))

3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
