1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

Revelation 22:10-13
10 And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.
11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me ((the church)), to give every man according as his work shall be.
13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

2 Corinthians 5:1-5
1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle((our mortal body)) were dissolved((dead)), we have a building of God, an house((new spiritual body like Jesus)) not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:

((When we die our spirit will be taken to heaven and we will be given a new body like Jesus had after the resurrection. We will be able to eat and be touched and go through walls. At the resurrection of the church our new heavenly body will be put on over our mortal body that has been changed by having the sin nature removed.))

3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.


Ephesians 2:4-7
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

((God considers us to already have been raised with Christ and worthy of sitting in heaven with Christ.))
