Micro Chipping

I don't "see" an embedded chip being a mark, but do assume it would be a tatoo of the Beast's name literally on the hand or forehead. A person might muster courage to slice marked skin off a hand or even forehead, but the damage would be a dead giveaway for a rebranding.
I've lived to see the day when a restaurant and barber won't take cash, right after I decided to stop carrying a credit card. It has to be a card with the security chip or no service. Maybe just because of too much counterfeit cash? I know it costs a business to process cash, but they have a fee to pay credit card issuers. So the cards are back in my wallet, and so is some cash, making it too thick again. I like cash, as it is good for putting in a hand. I suppose homeless beggars will have to carry a mobile phone with card reader soon.

Tattoos can be forged, cards can be counterfeited......Only a chip, embedded can be secure. Only a chip could be used to control you, shut down your ability to trade or buy, shut down your very body.

If I knew where those chips were (if I were a thief/murderer), I could cut them out and burn the body or bury it never to be found and use it like crazy till missing person reports caught up with me.... soooooooooooooo there are some problems with that method.

There was a man who had a chip in his leg...A chip similar to the one we're talking about...The doctor found it using his electronic tools. When he went to take the chip out it could not be found....Believe it or not, it was cloaked, as in Star Trek. It took a long time to find it so they could remove it. In addition, I doubt whether you would have the intestinal fortitude needed to dig it out.

You realize you have to obey Jesus to be sent home right ?

Sell everything you have and give it to the poor.
Stop working for money
Stop praying outloud
Give in secret
Call no man on earth Father, and do not use special titles for people .

Stop working for money? What scripture is that?

I know my view likely isn't very popular here but I take a simpler view of the mark of the beast... I believe the answers are found here (and in other NT verses):

Ephesians 2:1-2 And you has he quickened who were dead in trespasses and sins ; Wherein in time past you walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience. Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind: and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus...

I believe that everything has been fulfilled in the bible, other than the second (final) coming of Christ to judge the world. Of course until the end of time, evil men and seducers will wax worse and worse, and signs of the end likely could get worse... wars etc. But at the same time it says that his coming will be "as in the days of Noah" - suddenly and without warning, and people will be complacent and enjoying pleasure.

I believe that Jesus could come any time, and time will be over. I don't stress over chips and other physical marks altho I can see privacy concerns. But if we have a spiritual mind and have been born again, and have continued in serving Christ we won't have the mark of Satan and we WILL be accepted on the judgment day.

I hesitated to jump into this discussion because I am not sure I have the time or energy to expend on discussing this right now but anyway... here it is!

If I was told my leg had such a chip in it, making me a servant of antichrist, I think I'd bite down on the wood while cutting. A hiker had to do that when a boulder pinned him down. I agree, it would be unlikely any of us would endure such a thing if the chip was less of a threat than eternal damnation.

Meanwhile, I'm not reading the former conspiracy fears that warned people not to get a flu shot, as that was the government's main tool to deliver a nanobot acting as the controlling chip.

Amen! Aside from "sort of fun" speculation, I will add to your comment this:
2 Timothy 2:19-21 (KJV)
19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.
21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

Those people would not bow to the antichrist or rely on his system for sustinance. The Lord already knows our needs and meets those needs.

Good post...

Just a point on "not relying on his system for sustenance"..

Isn't it possible for a Christian to use the things of this world (and its financial "system" etc) for natural sustenance, yet not having our hands and foreheads marked with this (grasping at riches, or having a drive in our minds for wealth), but rather our hands working for Christ, and our minds set on Him, letting him sustain us?

1Tim 6: 17As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy. 18They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, 19thus storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life.

KJV 1 Corinthians 7:30 And they that weep, as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; and they that buy, as though they possessed not;31And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away.

ESV 1 Corinthians 7:31and those who deal with the world as though they had no dealings with it. For the present form of this world is passing away.

Yes. Whatever the payers support is allowed by God, who sanctioned governments of men even if that interferes with His plan for us. Every nation gets the form of government it deserves. We pay taxes to finance benefits for the needy, though part of that might be to pay for abortion or pervert "art" museums. The USA way is compromise, at a terrible price. My wife teaches unwed mothers how to obtain maximum legal benefits while voting taxpayers allow. Once their "belly is full", we begin disciplining of the gospel in their lives, and "mothering", while teaching not to allow those "daddies" back in the door until fixed by God. God tolerates a lot, allows the feeding birds to collect a wide variety of foods for their chicks, or the crocodile to gobble. His mercies endure forever.

That's the best reference so far answering the false doctrine of not working for money. The emphasis is on righteous stewardship.

I believe God still manages legitimate governments, financial systems, and wealthy individuals, and allows the evil, even interceding among them. All He has to do is take His hand of blessing off one, and onto another, based on what people do with the wealth He allows. For prophecy to be fulfilled there will be a certain level of permissiveness for the reign of Antichrist. But we know it is limited. I am convinced it is limited in scope, focused mostly upon the former Roman Empire territories. It might be that Britain could escape that hold if Brexit is successful, similar to the abandonment of it by Rome, among the earliest cutbacks of the Roman Empire in the 4th century, replaced by Christianity. Antichrist would have the most trouble ruling there and in Germany.
