My knees are getting worse and not better.

I'll be going back to work this Tuesday, so please pray that my knees will enable me to work, especially my left knee.
I'm also going to see my doc this Monday and hopefully get some new and better meds and fine out when my knee replacement surgery will happen.
There is a lot on my plate right now, I really need God's wisdom. Should I take sometime off work?
Sorry for always bothering you great brothers and sisters with my troubles. I am very worried for my job, I feel like God is saying He will work it out!!

Doc gave me some codeine which is the only thing that has worked on my knee so far. It's hard on my stomach but I can take less when I don't need it as much. Probably over a 3 month wait for knee surgery. Everyday is a struggle, everyday I have pain, it is exhausting. Going to give me another cortisone shot in my right knee this time.

make sure you eat well with the codeine. Can bind some folk up. Use minimum during working hours as it can cloud thinking, also. Ask your doc about those things if you can or if possible, a pharmacy or drugstore.

I have been learning about Colloidal Gold. I too had painful knees (mainly my left knee) but I bought some colloidal gold and stared drinking a shot glass full each morning. After 4 weeks my knee wasn't as painful. I then went away for 1 week & forgot to take my CG with me & my knee began to hurt again. Doc put me on a different narcotic which works fine. I was so stressed out I missed all of last week at work, going back tomorrow.
Had a meeting with my surgeon yesterday could be a 12 to 18 month wait and we discussed all the effects after the surgery.
Must admit I was very down yesterday after hearing that news. But with all the bad news I've had lately, I felt a peace today.
Hopefully it will continue, that God will not let me drown!!

I have asked for prayers for my knees recently here and they are only getting worse.
I cold barely walk at work today the pain was so bad. I can't go on workman's compensation cause
I already made a claim on my knees. They gave me a brace which I thought was all that I needed but I was mistaken.
I got two custom braces from my medical insurance but they are causing problems cause of sciatic nerve pain in the front of my legs and the braces agitate the nerves. Going to see doc next week.
I'm 63 and worked all my life and this is the absolute worse thing that has happened to me physically.
It started with a motorcycle accident last year and which I believed caused the severe arthritis I am experiencing now.
This Thursday I have to move a lot of my furniture so that my apartment maintenance can come in for some work, which
will be hard on my knees.
I feel like God has forgotten about me. He blesses everyone but NEVER EVER ME.
I'm exhausted and at the end of my rope!!

I'm certain the pain must be terrible, and I don't mean to make any assumptions: but have you ever considered a little bit of chicken bone marrow soup, to see if it slightly reduces the pain? The antibodies begin attacking the joint because of the micro-tear, and then the body begins thinking the whole joint is bad, so what some people do is they start taking organic chicken and making marrow broth from it, and drinking it every day. The chicken cartilage is identical to our cartilage, and when it goes to the stomach the antibodies detect it there and leave the joint it is destroying to go to the stomach. So the chicken bone broth is acting like a decoy. Then the joint inflammation can go down and it can start to heal.

I haven't tried it and it is bone on bone so surgery is my only option. Meds I'm taking help a lot as do my knee braces.

I'm still taking Curcumin and do not need any pain killers. I was taking Aspirin or Ibuprophen. But nothing now. It's been a couple of months it seems since I started.

12 to 18 months in waiting for knee surgery?! Therefore, without reading all of the posts within your thread, just where do you live to take that long for knee surgery?! This time period is preposterous to say the least as you are in pain!

Biblically speaking, the axiom that in praying to Jesus, as Yahweh God incarnate, is essentially slapping Him in the face because of the following passage: "Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him." (Matthew 6:8). But, if it is more comfortable for you to ask others to pray to Him in your behalf while awaiting your surgery, I guess it would be okay to do so as stated herewith: " But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly." (Matthew 6:6). By all means, do not forget to tell the membership that to pray for you, to do it in a closet secretly that may make an overall difference!

Let us know where you live, where it might be better to move elsewhere temporarily to get a faster surgery from a reputable orthopedic surgeon that specializes in knee surgery?

I've had my surgery on Sept. 13 and returned to work last Monday. My knees are still sore and I'm hoping praying they will be OK at work.
