The major work of a prophet of God is to speak the Word of God into situations where it is needed. They sometimes do predict the future, but that is not their primary function. Therefore, Nostradamus was not a prophet of God. Any power he had was demonic in origin.

Maybe we need to be patient with Justin. His profile show that he's a young man and he's only been a born-again believer for a few months. I suspect he got hold of one of those supermarket tabloids that prey on people who are not scripturally rooted.

I can see why a newbie who is not really experienced in the things of God would wonder about such "prophets", especially the slick way the tabloids present them. Even as a born-again believer, before I got some grounding in the Word I was a bit vulnerable to that stuff, too.

A lot of the hype that is Nostradamus is bogus. Much of what is read and known about Nostradamus and his prophecies are exacerbated at best and out-and-out lies at worst.
