if you like mercy me, get the album with "So Long Self" on it... every song is great. I listen to it almost everyday... and it's something that even nonbelievers wouldn't object to if they were in your car. It may be a good way to get a conversation started. Good sound and good lyrics. I dont remember the name of the album but just look for the album with that hit. .. "so long self"

Vince, I agree! That first song gets me so pumped up! When I'm driving, I'm just jamming away! lol I am sure I look goofy, but it's ok, because it's goofiness in the name of the Lord!
I let one of my friends hear it, he listens to some Christian music, and he said he could hear that on mainstream radio.

ohhhh, I saw Jeremy Camp live this summer along with Mercy Me, it was out of this world. I would recommened any CD by Jeremy Camp. I also really like Big Daddy Weave, their new one is awesome (Every time I breathe). For some worship I like Tree63 and Building 429. I also like Switchfoot. Those will keep you rocking Chad while you drive. Oh, Jadon Lavik is great too, Sonicflood is great...and Third Day....Delierious? too. Hope that helps.

I love Third Day! And Jadon is good too...I bought his cd for the one song "What If", and his cd sounds pretty. I've just discovered Needtobreathe, they have a great, unique sound.

First of all, I just want to say thank you for your love and concern.

Now, if I read you right about the sort of music you seek,
as a way of saying thankyou,

I thouroughly recommend The Glenn Kaiser Band if you like full bottled,
100% lively Christian Blues....be careful though....you may never be the same again!!! I suggest 'GKB Live 2005' is a good album to start with, but it's all good.
Glenn also does some more sedate and lovely stuff, which is also worth looking into.... 'Throw Down Your Crowns'

Also, you can't go past Keith Green if you want passionate love for God music.

To quote Col Stringer, If this doesn't light your fire....your woods wet!
