Brother, we don't agree on a lot of things, but this is one thing we do agree on. We won't be too popular about this stand either.

Isaiah 3:12
"As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths." KJV

Guess I better be careful now if I post something you don't agree with I'll get banned!

Why would you get banned because I don't agree with you on a subject? lol

Informed Guess!

I would love to say that I could make an educated guess.....but I am still attempting to seek information on all the candidates.

I need to ask you all, do you all know anything about Obama's background? Someone told me that he was raised in a muslim home. I seek to know if this is true of false. If you know, please share it with me.

I was listening to Dr. Dobson of Focus on the Family, and he was so hardpressed about this upcoming election.

He said something about our choices being limited and either way we voted, we would be voting for evil. Very Loose translation......do not take my words for his exact wording. I believe that is what he was saying though.

What do you all think?

Singlemom

All those things are rumors
Obama's father was muslim.

He was not sworn in on the Koran...all gossip.

I'm waiting for Hillary camp to say...he funds a terrorist group.

The person will not be evil..their position will consist of things we as Christians would not approve of. We are entering a age where US dollar could be losing its value.

We have President Chavez asking countries to withdraw from US banks, to start a new fund. He is gaining attention because he is promising economic growth and accusing the US Government of not having good intentions. His main targets are latin Caribbean islands and south america.
Chavez is working and meeting with other leaders( members of OPEC (Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries )

With the establishment of this new fund , a change of currency could be euro. Imagine if all the OPEC leaders drop the "dollar" and use euro's, imagine how much money oil would cost. Would they even accept the US dollar.

If everything I said is nothing but conspiracy theory, I still believe the next leader should be equip for anything.

Can hillary roll with the big boys with out getting hormonal and caty.
Look at her behaviour during the debates, mood swings and childish remarks towards Obama.

Seriously if she's elected, thats the same behaviour she will expressed at United Nations summit, when someone disagree with her.

Personality and Character should be your first choice, anyone can make promises and say what you want to hear.

The key is finding someone who speaks from the heart, not a robot.

She's a perfect example of why the bible says a woman should not rule over a man.
I'm a female and I dont feel less of myself by saying that.

Dr. Dobson is right about votes being limited, Prophecies need to be fulfilled and only God knows what the future holds.

We can have our favourites..but remember God's will not ours will be done.

That sounds like sound advice to me

Thanks rizen,

This sheds light on this issue from a completely new vantage point.

I know "we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities...."

I don't know where this rumor started, about obama, but it is scary nonetheless, to think that some muslims, come in by stealth. They appear as sheep, but are truly wolves in lambs clothing.

Unbelievers are at the mercy of satan........

I hope this is not true, but you are right......we do know what everything is leading to.......yet, you can't help but pray that God will help you to see how He wants you to vote in this election.

I agree about the woman thing. I have been saying that and know that I am in the minority here in California.

Thanks for your input.

May the Lord bless anyone who becomes President of the U.S.A. These are difficult times and I pray that the world becomes a better place for all of us. Through Jesus Christ our Lord, I pray. I edited this post because my feelings seemed to be contradictory.

I believe we should not worry about the elections,,,God has it under control!

Mike Huckabee, as many of you know, is a Christian as wall as a Baptist minister. I pray that God allows him to be the nominee for the Republican party. He is 100% pro-life and is only for marriage between a man and a woman.

He passionately expresses his faith and would be a very positive influence on America if elected president.

GOD bless everyone,,,,and don't forget to vote!

We are a Huckabee household. We like him. He just seems, well, decent. A good man. Hard to find anymore.

I know people have mixed feelings towards the candidates based on your views and what they believe. I've read the replies here and rather, the degrading remarks regarding past presidents and/or their families personal matters.

Something to keep in mind is this:

Being a U.S. president is probably the toughest task and pressure for any person in this world.

- they have to deal with a lot of selfish citizens within the country itself (no denying it)
- they have to deal with a lot of envious countries / leaders outside the U.S.
- they have to try to please everyone (as it sadly demanded without mercy by everyone worldwide)
- they have to deal with every day serious critical issues, one at a time (oil prices, medical issues, senior citizen benefits, taxes, education, terrorism, economy in general, health, etc)

So, before you pass comments about your current or past president, ask yourself this.

"Can I do a better job at all, or even close than what Mr. X President is doing, or has done?" I doubt it.

Basically, "put your money where your mouth is". Let's see how well you can run this country with the worst amount of pressure any individual has to face, the president of the United States.

Keep in mind no one is perfect, no one is assigned by GOD to be a know-it-all, mother of all wisdom. Keep in mind everyone is a sinner. How easy is it to keep sane, pure, Christ-like with all the pressure a U.S. faces each day? All the tasks, the criticisms, childish unpatriotic insults, concerns, etc.?

Chad's post is spot on. I'm a Huckabee supporter myself, although I don't think he'll even be nominated, and I think Hillary will most likely win the presidency.

No, I don't like the idea either, noy because she's a woman. but because of her political positions on abortion and homosexuality. But if she is elected anyways, I will continue to support her and pray for her and this nation.

Something just popped up in my mind a minute ago, perhaps something from GOD as a reminder to all who read this?

"My fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you -- ask what can you do for your country."

- John F Kennedy

I agree. I also like Huckabee, but I doubt he will get president. McCain looks like the republican and McCain likes Huckabee and doesn't like the mormon, so if McCain gets it and Huckabee gets Vice that would be great also.

I saw where Obama didn't salute to the flag on TV. What is up with that? What is his stance on abortion? I just can't make myself vote for that guy. I can't vote for Hillary either because I believe the Bible teaches against women rulers.

God's will be done.

That flag thing has been circulating in anti Obama sites, I didnt see when it happened (even thought I've been following official media reports ) but I heard about it.

You need to find out his stand on abortion, listen to his issues before you judge him. You cant believe everything you read online. You guys need to listen to everyone. When you listen to everyone even the Mormon ( his name is Mitt Romney )

You'll get to make a better intellectual choice, and not based on word of mouth or opinion but through facts.

He didnt salute the flag..my question how many of you know the whole national anthem ( all 4 verses ), the pledge of Allegiance and who wrote it.
(rhetorical question)

Concerning the flag thing, I've heard comments like Obama not American enough..I asked them what makes an american and what an American is suppose to look like, afraid they'd be perceived as racist ,they couldnt answer.lol.

Your choice on a President should not be based on Affective Prejudice and Discrimination.

It would be easy for us if the Government banned abortion and gay marriage, no need for us to hit the streets and witness.

Religion and state would never become one...that President would have to abolish the first amendment.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Whoever wins will make history the first woman or first Bi-racial candidate( Obama is caucasian, cherokee and african..He's african american not by color but his dad is from kenya )

God's will would be done.
