Oh My Please NOT Hillary!

Something just popped up in my mind a minute ago, perhaps something from GOD as a reminder to all who read this?

"My fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you -- ask what can you do for your country."

- John F Kennedy

I think this is the best reply on this thread.

That flag thing has been circulating in anti Obama sites, I didnt see when it happened (even thought I've been following official media reports ) but I heard about it.

I attached a picture for you to see.

You need to find out his stand on abortion, listen to his issues before you judge him. You cant believe everything you read online. You guys need to listen to everyone. When you listen to everyone even the Mormon ( his name is Mitt Romney )

Extend presumption of good faith to abortion protesters

[An abortion protester at a campaign event] handed me a pamphlet. "Mr. Obama, I know you're a Christian, with a family of your own. So how can you support murdering babies?"

Obama:
I told him I understood his position but had to disagree with it.

He didnt salute the flag..my question how many of you know the whole national anthem ( all 4 verses ), the pledge of Allegiance and who wrote it.

I know both and the pledge of Allegiance since I was 6 and I knew not saluting it is disrespectful to the people that died for our freedom in war.

Concerning the flag thing, I've heard comments like Obama not American enough..I asked them what makes an american and what an American is suppose to look like, afraid they'd be perceived as racist ,they couldnt answer.lol.

He needs to be American enough to salute the Flag that stands for our freedom. Race has nothing to do with it. I've got told by many African Americans and Caucasians that they are simply voting for Obama because of his skin color. They don't know anything about the issues. They simply want change for stupid reasons. I would never vote for someone just because of their skin color or not vote for someone because of skin color.

God's will would be done.

Amen to that.

You you now did your home work...

Cody.
What is his stance on abortion?

You were suppose to read up on him before posting, or asking that question.

(rhetorical question)

A rhetorical question is a figure of speech in the form of a question posed for rhetorical effect rather than to receive an answer.
I did this so the topic would not stray

In all those teen site you're a part of open a poll and see for yourself. I'm not talking from opinion but from what I see and read.

Calm down Cody no one mention race or colour in this thread.

I would suggest you watch closely who is voting for Obama..look at the facebook..skin colour is not the issue. So I'm not sure why you brought it up. Obama's main target is educated college students of all ethnicities.

How many " African Americans " told you that seriously. Just like you didnt know his stand on abortion earlier is the same with them.
Give them the same advice I give you..read up on everyone.

They simply want change for stupid reasons.

The feminist vote for hillary because she's a woman... I wont call that a stupid reason because they know why they choose to.

Nothing is wrong with Change...
For us change is nothing because God is in control.

Sadly the media is making this a Racial and Gender elections..when in all honesty people are watching the debates, people are getting involved.

Its amazing how facebook is motivating the young adults in this election.

Those who choose ignorance over knowledge are just being foolish.

It was a loaded question.

I'm calm as a cucumber lol. Alright, I'll turn off CNN to watch facebook to see who the majority voters are. All I hear on CNN is about who the hispanics, women, African Americans and Caucasians are voting for. And I agree with you, the media shouldn't be making this a gender and race election, but I'm sure they have more information than facebook.

Your Sarcasm is amusing.

I'm tellin you to go on facebook and read what the people is saying. If I'm tellin you to educate yourself on the canidadates, you wont get it from one source. ( facebook )

You can not tell me CNN said all Obama's votes was from minorities. Check the US census Beruea, check the percentage of ethicites. Obama has more than 12% of this populations vote..now the question is who makes up the rest.

Did you watch super tuesdays, live debates.
These are the things to watch..the news is just giving you collective info on what happened.

If you watch these things live...you'll be able to judge for yourself. Dont watch CNN alone.

You said many African americans told you they vote for him because he's black.
I'm tellin you to go on facebook, see the faces of his supporters.
The best way to know how people feel is goin to them directly, facebook is more personal.

Concerning the national anthem..I forgot to ask those who dont know is that saying they are not American enough.

The same poll found that almost two-thirds of Americans don’t know the national anthem, despite its ubiquitous presence at sporting events and other national celebrations. Many complain that “The Star-Spangled Banner” is hard to sing and that the words are difficult to understand.

source

The National Anthem Project: O Say, They Can Sing! Teachers Share Their Tips for Teaching the National Anthem.

Also can you send me the link for that photo so I can read the article and view the video if any is available. A video of his stature for the whole anthem would be good.

I'll end here I think we took over..the thread

Be bless.

Well, I'm just saying that teenagers and younger people are the people that visit facebook. I'm sorry, but I tend to lean more to CNN than facebook comments. I watch the debates, both on CNN and on internet websites.

I see, most of them are pretty young . I also watch the Obama rallies on CNN and other stations.

Facebook and abc did team up for campaign coverage, so did youtube with cnn.

When I told you to check facebook, I had valid reasons.

facebook members posted questions for the candidates.Facebook has been very active in this elections....

As a CNN viewer I'm sure you knew about the youtube influence, sucess of coverage and networking.

I would just like to say that this country was founded on a solid rock (The Lord)
And the flag is a representation of this nation and of what is "used" to stand for.

Back in the day this country was Christ all the way, and i believe that something as small as not saluting the flag is saying something about him.

Obama says that he can find other ways to honor the flag. ?????

Whats up with that? I think that saluting the flag would be a great start.

I'm not saying that he is a bad guy or anything, but i don't think that
it is very American to dishonor the flag like that. Also considering that
it says "one nation under God," in it.
I might be wrong but in a way that kinda looks like dishonoring God to me.

I just hope that the person that is going to rule under God the best will
be the person elected.

(I said none of this to make anyone mad)

God Bless

I agree brother Michael. If it is true that he did not salute the flag, than shame on him. What valid reason would he possibly have? Its utter disgusting, if it is true that he refused to salute the flag. Either way, I would never vote for a Muslim, radical or not. Its not sane to vote for someone who opposes GOD of the Holy Bible.

You can watch the video here:
Case Law, Federal and State Resources, Forms, and Code

Section 301. National anthem

(a) Designation. - The composition consisting of the words and music known as the Star-Spangled Banner is the national anthem.
(b) Conduct During Playing. - During a rendition of the national anthem -

(1) when the flag is displayed -
(A) all present except those in uniform should stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart;
(B) men not in uniform should remove their headdress with their right hand and hold the headdress at the left shoulder, the hand being over the heart; and
(C) individuals in uniform should give the military salute at the first note of the anthem and maintain that position untilthe last note; and
(2) when the flag is not displayed, all present should face toward the music and act in the same manner they would if the flag were displayed.

Bless you Michael for this response. Many people currently are oblivious to the Christian foundation that our country was built upon. Our forefathers are rolling in their graves. The direction America is heading is not the direction they would've wanted it to go.

This is a very touchy subject so I'm not going to write ten pages of arguable material.

I will say that if reasonable citizens continue to sit on their hands and not make any noise about (insert issue), we're in for troubled waters.

Currently I believe that if John McCain were nominated and elected, it would be a severe blow to the Republican party. Because of this, I cannot support him even if he is the front runner. I would rather suffer through four years of a Democrat than to have Republicans represented by a man who could've just as well aligned with Democrats.

I encourage everyone to look at the legislation McCain has sponsored. The McCain/Feingold act absolutely restricts freedom of speech (except conveniently for labor unions). Also look at McCain/Leiberman and McCain/Kennedy. He is playing both sides of the field.

Bless you all
:announcementfly:Huck-a-bee, Huck-a-bee, Huck-a-bee:announcementfly:

I like Mike too, brother, but he has no chance(I wish he did). I think he would be vice president, if McCain gets president though.

Here is a video where John McCain shares his story of faith. It is a really interesting story. He tells about his experience being a prisoner.

http://www.talkjesus.com/streaming-video/18585-mc-cain-shares-his-faith.html

One thing I don't agree on with John McCain is the fact that he says he respects other religions like Islam and Mormonism. Me, personally would be saying those people are wrong and they're going to Hell, but that is just me. I don't respect other religions like Islam or Mormonism because they're sending people to Hell everyday.

I liked it when Mike asked that Mormon if Mormonism teaches that Jesus and Lucifer were brothers lol. Mike seems like a person I would like to be around. He is strong in his faith and he is not hesitate to talk about God. He stands against evolution and I love that. It's a shame that he won't get enough votes to become President.

I pray God will bless this country. It breaks my heart to see the condition of the United States today. America is full of gays, feminists, unruly children, drug heads, alcoholics, etc. I pray God would just look for those ten faithful men and bless this country still.

Genesis 18:32
"And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten's sake." KJV

My dear brother Cody, I am thrilled to respond to your post.

When there is no chance of something happening, these are the circumstances God thrives in and creates for His glory. If everything was a sure thing, we wouldn't need God!

The votes that McCain has earned are from the moderate to liberal wing of the Republican party (California and such), not the core conservative base of the party. He has severely offended the latter mentioned and without these votes, it is futile for him to run against a Obama/Clinton ticket.

Unfortunately, to get a true conservative in the office, four years of Obama (called the most liberal senator in office today by many) may be the price.

In the next few months, Senator McCain will try to persuade the core conservatives that he is one of us. The problem is, although he has flipped to the conservative side recently on many of the issues, he is not tested and tried on his new stances.

We'll see what happens, personally I think the outlook is bleak for any of the Republican hopefuls because the party is so divided. Just tonight Governor Romney suspended his campaign (bless him and pray that he finds the true Savior Jesus) for the good of the party. Most of the Romney supporters will go to Governor Huckabee as the Core of the party was split among these two.

The Dem's on the other hand are roaring on all cylinders. And either way the ticket appears, (Obama/Clinton Clinton/Obama) it'll be simply a miracle to beat them.

Maybe it's what we need though to get a really great person in there in 2012 like Newt Gingrich.:thumbs_up

This indeed is a very depressing subject, but I know God will get us through the hard times. Maybe if we are lucky enough, He'll rapture us out soon.

Jesus for President!

He's promising Eternal Life for all that vote for Him.

John 3:15
"That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life." KJV

Going Home

Many times in my childhood when we'd traveled so far,
By nightfall how weary I'd grow;
Father's arms would slip 'round me,
So gently he'd say,
"My child, we're going home."

(Chorus)
Going home, I'm going home,
There's nothing to hold me here;
Well, I've caught a glimpse of that heavenly land,
Praise God, I'm going home.

Now the twilight is fading and the day soon shall end;
I get homesick the farther I roam;
But my Father has led me each step of the way,
And now we're going home.

Amen, Amen, Amen.

Cody I moved the videos to its proper place.

That way other members wont think its ok to post vids outside of the " Streaming video " area.

You can upload the vids and then provide a link for them to view it.

Christians aught not to resort to slander, no matter how passionate they are about religion or politics. If you dont know it to be true, dont say it. Be led of the Spirit, not led by 'vibes' and 'feelings' and 'emotions'...

2Ti 3:1 You must realize, however, that in the last days difficult times will come. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,
unfeeling, uncooperative, slanderous, degenerate, brutal, hateful of what is good, traitors, reckless, conceited, and lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God. They will hold to an outward form of godliness but deny its power. Stay away from such people.
