Just to let you know...

I am already seeing a difference in two of my childrens' lives.

This past saturday and all the way up to this very hour, they have not fought. They have been getting along and have, actually, been playing together. This is not the norm! God knows!

They never would do that before! It was always constant fighting, arguing, bickering, backbiting, calling each other names. There was lots of hatred between two of my girls.

Since Saturday, they have been getting along and it is amazing!

Keep lifting up those hands!

I thank you Father for these children, all of them Lord. For they were your's first.

You know each and every need, those mentioned and those not mentioned.

Lord, You gave us prayer and as we come boldly before Your thone in prayer, for each one, I ask You to bring the peace of your Son Jesus, the comfort of Your Holy Spirit and that they might feel Your unconditional love.

To those facing peer pressure give them strength, and wisdom. Bring them christian friends. To those struggling to serve you, strengthen them.

For those who need healing, Lord Your Word says by the stripes of Jesus
they are healed.

Lord for those who have taken a detour, I ask you send laborers in their path. That they will run into Godly people everywhere. That they will hear Your Holy Spirit speaking to them. That they will know they are loved.

In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray, and all of God's kids said Amen!!!!!

Amen to Alabasters prayers. I have just learnt of a young teenage boy who is angry and bitter because he does not have a father around. He often gets into fights. His mom is struggling with the situation. I do not know them directly. I don't know the mom's name but the young boys name is Ben. I don't think they know the Lord. Please add them to our prayers.

I dont know how I missed this but I would also like to ask for prayer for my children..

Destiny she is 10 and having a hard time she is very emotional rifht now because she realises sje is getting older and wants to stop..

Ethan is 7 he is having a very hard time in school (which I have to say he is improving Praise the Lord). He is having a hard time in the friends department (well at school)


Austin is 3 and well...he is the typical 3 yr old...


I also have been praying for children that I dont even know... like at the store...

Thank you Coconut for your post listing the names! This helps keep a concise list of the children we're praying for!

Jlu...am adding your precious babies as well, sister! I can totally identify with what you're facing with your 7 yr. old, Ethan! Our 7 yr. old, Farrell, who has Asperger's Syndrome has that same exact challenge.

Apparently, it's typical for kids with AS to have difficulty making and sustaining friendships with kids from their peer group. Now, they'll do great with younger and older children...it's just the other 7 yr. olds they have challenges with! But... PRAISE GOD!!!...we're seeing some awesome changes in our son which are so encouraging! Hang in there, sister!

Please add our daughter Michelle to the list. She was saved at age 7, but is struggling spiritually and emotionally right now. She is 13 and pushes people away. In the past, she had several special friends, but now she lets no one in, except for 1 girl who lives about 50 miles from here.

We've had lots of struggles with her the past two years...but I must say...that in the past 3 months I have seen God begin a mighty work in her. He is doing something....he is opening her heart and getting her ready so that He can use heal her and use her in mighty ways. For she is His child.

This prayer site is an excellent idea, and a much-needed ministry.

Lord Father God as we come before you today and lift up all the above mentioned children Lord. That You would heal them mind, body and spirit.

They were Yours before they were ours.

Lord, show us as parents how to train them up in Your Word and how to help them through the trails of this world.

Lord that You will be first place in their lives and no weapon formed against them or our families will prosper. Touch them Lord, only as You can.

In Jesus name I pray.

Lord once again I come before You and lift up all the children listed in all the posts in this thread. Lord, You know their needs and I believe You will bring peace to them and put laborers in their path.

Lord, touch all who need healing in their bodies. For they are healed by the stripes of Your son Jesus.

Lord touch all who's hearts are heavy, For Jesus came to heal the broken hearted.

Give them ears to hear. In Jesus name amen and amen.

Lord Jesus I join with my brothers and sisters to pray for these children. God help us and all believers close to them to trust in Your timing and that You are in control. Grant that we trust You are moved by our prayers and make us faithful to continually pray for them. Lord bless the parents especially who need no reminder to pray- and fill their hearts with You love. Grant that we also know that You will do Your will and that which is for our best because of Your amazing love for us.

Grant that all these children can see that too. Even if some of them can't understand it, even if they reject it, even if thoughts like this would cause them to want to walk away from You, grant that somewhere deep they know it. Plant seeds and make divine appointments for them Father. Enrich their lives with relationships that cause them to gravitate to Your love.

For those that do know You love them and embrace You as their Lord, grant that they are continually encouraged, in solid accountable relationships and church bodies, grant their minds are continually enlightened through Your word and that they feel the fullness of the freedom they have been given. I echo my sister's prayer - heal them mind and body.

I would like to add Deborah, Matthew and Dominique to the list for prayer. They are all Christians, but need prayer. On Thursday evening I shared with Coconut on a matter that needed resolved that has been going on for months. Praise the Lord, later on Thursday this situation improved, and things are much better.

I pray for them and their families. Show us parents how to minister to our children. Teach us to teach them oh Lord. Show us how to pray for them.

Lord place protection around them, strengthen them to stay strong in the face of temptation.

I was reading Stormie's book power of a praying parent And there are some awesome prayers in there.
I have had this book for a while but never took time to really read it , I listened to the devil telling me well your children are teenagers its too late, so I foolishly believed that. Now I know better. In the book I filled in the blanks with my sons names and scribbled out the she/her throughout the pages, because I was finding those distracting. And I read the prayers with confidence and assurance that the Lord is listening.

I will continue to pray for my babies until I die!

Father, You know each one of these children intimately! You knit them in our wombs secretly and lovingly you created them. Father, each and every one of them are so precious in Your sight. We pray a strong wall of thorns around them a wall, a protection that could only come from You. May they always seek after You, Lord, all the days of their lives. May they always come back to you if they should stray. May each one of them have their names written in the Lamb's Book of Life.

I want to add my little Caleb to the list. He's only 8 months old, but I forgot to put him in here the other day when I put his sister's name. Oh...and my oldest, Bryce, who is 18 (lives in a different part of the country)

I love you, Lord, and I KNOW you are looking after our children.. Help us to be wise as we raise them up in Your Holy Name, Amen.
