Heb 2:17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

Hebrews 2:17 So He had to be made like His brothers in every way, that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, in order to make atonement for the sins of the people.

The Son was born like his jew brethren.

Strangely enough, in light of taking the form of a servant, brother Paul did not censor Him about Him considering Himself being equal with God.

Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:


6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:


7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:


8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.


9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:


10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;


11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

So how can Jesus be worshiped Whose name is above every other name; including Jehovah... when only God can be worshiped unless He is One with the Triune God?

Thye name to call upon to be saved is the name you call on God to save you by. The name of God is Jesus Christ for why His name is above every other name as His name is the name of God to be saved by because Jesus Christ is God.

The Son of God as the God that men had seen in the O.T., had to be incarnated in taking the form if a servant to die on the cross for us. Do not allow His incarnation be the reason why you are denying His deity.

Try putting the picture together of Luke's account with Matthew 1:18-21 when Mary was with child for why Joseph was considering putting her away privily because she was not carrying his child. That was why the angel had to come to say otherwise that Jesus was conceived by the Holy Ghost.

Otherwise, explain why Joseph was considering putting Mary away privily for why the angel had to make assurances about the child she was carrying for him not to do so if she was carrying his child.

1. I find it interesting how you would say The Son of God name is over God himself. Especially when The Son came in the name of God.
