'Trust in the LORD with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge Him,
and He shall direct thy paths. '
(Pro 3:5-6)
Hello @RebornInChrist,
I am concerned about the effect the previous post may have on you (reply#22), with it's reference to demon possession.
As the verse above tells us, it is wise to acknowledge the Lord in regard to all that we do, but you have been diagnosed to have a certain condition, and will have been medicated. Please do not let thoughts such as those suggested trouble you. You have placed your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Saviour and Lord and are trusting in Him for salvation. God has placed you 'in' Him (1 Corinthians 1:30-31), and you now have the new nature indwelling, so like Timothy, whom the Apostle Paul advised in 2 Timothy 3:14-17,
'... continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.'
I know nothing about demon posession,
@RebornInChrist, but I do know and believe what is written in God's Word about our Heavenly Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour, Who is at His right hand, which is a position of great authority and power. We can trust Him to keep us from all evil.
Within the love of Christ our Saviour,
now risen and glorified,
and sat at God's right hand.
Chris
