question?

Brook,
I agree with you. I believe that God is a sir name. Jesus always said that he was the son of God. Back then if you were a blacksmith your son would be a blacksmith. Like my sons are just like me. When Jesus prayed he prayed to someone and that someone was father in heaven. He often said "I don't know only the father in heaven knows".

People, you need to study and investigate into the original Holy Bible (original, as in not the koran, nor the jehovah's witness or the mormons bible as they are evil and corrupt). You need to read back the many verses I and others provided as proof that the single GOD is made of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I'm not quite sure where the difficulty is in seeing this as it is plentifully shown in the bible.

Chad I agree wholeheartedly with you brother. As if scales are on their eyes, I do not understand the confusion from the truth. Jimmy, you need to know the truth as it will set you free. You deny God his devinity you deny God for who He is and this effects every area of your life. Please read the numberous verses provided by the people on here, study it, ask God to reveal the truth. God's devinity is not just a guess, the Bible is clear just as he chose us as His own.

I see brooks you never responded to my post so that tells me a few things about you, you cannot discuss (argue) truth about Jesus, you refuse to accept truth about who Jesus is. We have a choice to walk through life with blinders on or we can look at God's Holy Word and see the truth. I would venture to say you like the blinders on, that is a pity. Many individuals came in response to your post and gave you scripture to back up what they said, however, I can determine that(scripture) is not the basis for your search for truth. We as believers in Christ Jesus cannot accept only bits and pieces of man's misconstrewed thoughts on what is said in the Bible, we have to read it for ourselves. There is a whole section on this forum about the Trinity and a wonderful woman described it beautifully for our minds to comprehend. Please read it.

Talking about Jesus??? Weeeeeell you've come to the right place... Who will start first?
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son for whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eteernal life... John 3:16

Mymakersdaughter,
You say:
I see brooks you never responded to my post so that tells me a few things about you, you cannot argue truth, you refuse to accept truth. We have a choice to walk through life with blinders on or we can look at God's Holy Word and see the truth.

Here is my queston, is there anyone on here that wants to talk about Jesus? I am not asking to argue.

I apologize for my wording brooks, I changed it accordingly.
I got to talk now. For some reason you feel that if people don't agree with you then they are wrong and are following the wrong leader. My family never believed in God but all through my childhood I knew that there was a higher power. My life was very bad. At 13 I meet Christ. I didn't see him, I didn't hear him I felt him talk to me. He told me that everything will be OK. He was right. I didn't get into the Bible until after I had kids of my own. I wanted them to go to church but what one? So I read the Bible with the Holy Spirit and no one telling me what it means to them. I was shocked. Alot of churches do not follow the Bible. To me it fits with no part of it so deep that I can not understand. To you what you believe in fits. The main thing is that we all believe in the true God and that Jesus died to pay for our sins. We may not agree in everthing but I know that we all agree in that. I think it is good to talk to other people about what you believe. Just remember Matt.5 22 But anyone who says "you fool" will be in danger of the fire of hell.

I haven't called any one a fool...so lets look at the context of the passage you presented shall we?

Jesus is teaching about the about Anger to the Pharises. Upon reading the context in which it is written He is explaining the law from the OT, that we are not only to follow it but there are other implications from killing someone such as the anger to do this act. The anger Jesus is referring to "Killing is a terrible sin, but anger is a great sin too because it also violates God's comnand to love. Anger in this case refers to a seething, brooding bitterness against someone. It is a dangerous emoitons that always threatens to leap out of control, leading to violence, emotional hurt, increased mental stress, and spiritual damage..." Taken from NIV Life Application Bible.
So help me understand what you are trying to say to me as I apologized as I used incorrect wording.
There has been no anger from anyone.
I am thankful that my Pastor uses his Bible each and every Sunday and when I do not understand something I can email him to get answers as well as look information up when neccessary.

mymakersdaughter,

you say this:
You made it clear you do not want truth and in Jesus there is truth....

What tell me were I said I did not beleive in the truth! If I even did! I did not say that at all! I beleive in the truth and nothing but the truth!

I am no comeing to this board any longer, no more! I thought maybe nobody here would do that, but I was wrong! See I thought the truth was to preach here! But no I can not try any longer because of your members saying I do not beleive the truth!
I am talking about you ymakersdaughter! NO MORE!

I am sick and tired of people on this board saying that to me. I am not going to stay any longer.

There is only one God... there has always been One God. and there will always be One God... This is a biblical fact!

God just manifests Himself in many ways! and somtimes simultaniously as three different persons! Thus, The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are still the one true God.

Thats why trinitarian folks call God, three persons. Thats why Oneness folks Call God, One God. I personally like to say this "These three are One." He just likes doing multiple things to better reach out to us silly humans.

Jesus was man but he is also God! The fullness of the God head dwelt in him bodily...when you honor the son you honor the father. There is no other name under heave, given among men, where we must be saved... Isaiah chp 44, 45 and 46 make it pretty clear that the One God is God alone. Then we look at John chp 1 and Jesus is creating the whole universe!.... but wait! There goes Jesus saying to phillip "when you have seen me you have seen the father." ......hmmmm

:lightbulb but just when you think you got it figured out...he he he

You look at Jesus in the garden asking the Father to take the cup of the cross from him, "not my will but yours be done"??? .....hmmmmm

His name shale be called Emmanuel: God with us = "Elohiem in skin"...and yet Jesus is the only begotten of the father...

What a cool mistery! Even the bible says so...

1 Tim 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.
so, are there three persons or Just One God?

:secret: Here is my Ultimate conclusion! You see I finally figured it out! (scroll down)

When we see Jesus face to face, this debate will finally be over!.

Until then:
Love on another, that you joy may be Full!

Gosh brooks you don't have to be so hostile, goodness. As I have said before myself, as Chad (Board Administrato) has said, that people have kindly brought forth biblical verses to not state opinion but God's truth and when we turn our eyes away from truth then I would venture to say we are ignoring God and ultimately truth. Why get angry and hostile about this?

It was because you that I said those things. You said that did not except the truth. I have a question for you. Why do you judge people by there beleifs and put them down. Because I never said I did not or will not except the truth! Here is what I whant to say: let God be the judge for what I beleive.

Brooks, please tell me about Jesus.... I too think He is God in the flesh!
Who do you think He is...?

Jesus is everything to me he is my BEST FREIND!

Lets talk about Him!

Can I ask what would Jesus do? Would He continue to agrue back and forth? Would He try and make others feel worse about themselves? Sometimes when I read these posts it hurts my heart so! Being catty and rude ! Are we Christians? Showing brotherly love? Or just people being worldly? I understand that people all have different ways of understanding things, but does making me sound less of a christian make anyone look better? (or anyone for that matter) See what is the most important part? Salvation? Trinity? Rapture? Hell or no hell? ( I actually think this one is interesting I never really knew that christians thought there was no Hell) See We can never know all of it !!!! There are many things that others think and well we wont know untill we are with our Father! I myself believe in the Trinity but where in the Bible does it say that you have to believe it to have salvation? I know the word rapture is not in the bible either , but it is a one word discribing many things happening at once. That also (the rapture) does not say if you dont believe exactly this way depends on your salvation. See I find all these different thoughts confusing ( I know were confusion comes from) So someone tell me what does one have to do to be a Christian? Conform to a "man's" thought of how things translate or word meanings ? Or read and study the bible and listen for what God tells you? Or what ? I am not saying this to be cruel I am really wondering! How can anyone say ? So please some one respond to this one ty

Brooks have you read the verses given to you by strypes, Chad etc? Truth is in God's word, plainly that is all it is in. There is no need for hostility or anger. I am under obligation to uphold the truth, I would be very upset(upset meaning; concerned) if people(new believers) were lead astray becasue they do not seek the truth in God's Word. We must stand up for the truth, God's truth is not an opinion as Chad has already said. Gosh, there are things in God's word that I would love to ignore and not accept but I can't, it cuts to the flesh and must be dealt with, it's out of obligation to Him that I submit myself. Please go over the thread posted before where a discussion has occured previously about the Trinity. It is helpful and enlightening.

Stypes, to your reply this statement opened a door not about Jesus but over this misconception. Would you consider this a statment a cause for concern? I do as one of His.

brooks said:
I do not beleive in the trinity, but you do.
Most of the bible's know days are trying to push trinity.
The real bible did not.

brooks,
As you can see we are only trying to line up our beliefs along with what the Scripture teaches. Start what you want to discuss concerning Jesus as a topic in a new thread! Welcome to the forum!
