You got me laughing, you didnt know until you was forty plus years and been going to church all your life. Don't feel bad a couple of years ago i was talking to my 1st cousin, his step father was a "Methodist pastor" my 1st cousin is 90 years old, i could not believe the words coming out of his mouth, and always talking about church, and how many women he went to bed with, and the women minsters who was sleepling around with. And how many women his minister step father slept with and the lanugage and enticement that the female church women would do behind their husbands. And at 90, and have no idea, him and his old friends, still commiting fornication and somtimes paying for it, with "Social Security" checks!

And those old people will get angry with you if you try or. Show them that those who do such thing is in danger of going to Hell! They get mad, and scream that they are saved and been going to church all their lives, baptize, accepted Jesus as a child. A faithful church member. And friends with a lot of pastors. Who does the same things they do!

I keep quiet, around them, to many of those christians, they will twist my words around. I am out number, even in my own household, wife's friends, children friends, church members, pastors, they grow horns, and they runs in packs! In this neighborhood, in all races, If you say anything about "hell" that is considered hate speech. For at least the last 5- 6 years,
Theses poeple stick together! They will nail you to the cross upside down. Lie on you slander you, when they get through with you, you will be so confuse, you will wonder are you delusional, and wonder have someone put some "cool Aid" in your water! I scared of the church women and men. I have been all over these united states of america. It seem to me i was more safer in a bar or saloon or at a truckstop than a church on a Sunday morning. And the older ones where more dangerous than the younger ones. My mother and aunts had a name for them. I cannot recall what they called them. But it was referring to a young man was no match those old women. You dont have those protecting mothers today like the days of yesterday. They were few but, they protected young men in the church.

(Proverbs 31: 3).
"Do not give your strength to women, nor your ways to that which destroys kings"

I'm remind that Jesus said....

"If anyone comes to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters--yes, even their own life--such a person cannot be my disciple."

So based on what you shared, that means you are on the right track. Keep pressing on. I imagine you feel closer to many in the body of Christ then you do to your
own family.

I'm fortunate to have very Godly parents. I grew up very naive. I was probably one of the few persons that left high school still a virgin
because I planned on waiting till marriage. I had no idea that everyone was having sex. As an adult when I started dating I would meet
Christians girls and so surprised that most of them believed in 2 before marriage. I'm still confused. This is in the church. I'm haven't dated
much but the 4 girlfriends I've had in my life, all Christians only 1 (25%) believed in waiting till marriage to have sex. Once again, this is
in the church I'm talking about. Christian ladies who are listening to the sermons every Sunday.

It makes me sad, and I'm burdened at times because I shouldn't act surprised that Jesus was telling the truth, but when Jesus talked about
there being a wide road leading to destruction and a narrow road leading to life, the more I live, the more I realize that the narrow road was
much narrower than I thought and the board road had way more heading to the path of destruction than I could even imagine.

Therefore let us pray for the unsaved daily.

Sex outside of marriage is the most candy coated deceptive sin that entraps people in its lure.
And it is so questionable.
How can love and romance be wrong? How can anything so sensual, loving and pleasurable be bad?

It even traps Christians and turns their thinking and reasoning away from the Lord.
I've been down that pathway in the past too many times and its a slippery slope downwards.

Praise the Lord for Jesus who forgives all sins when we turn to Him or as Christians turn back to Him.

Amen my sister, God indeed forgives.

I agree with you 100% on how enticing it can be.

What I hear from other ladies in the past when I was dating is they believed( professed Christians)
that there is nothing wrong if two people are committed to each other and having sex.

Then I would get into discussion with some friends who held that position by asking them, then
why don't you just marry the person? Then they would go into the whole "marriage is just a paper"
or "we are planning on getting married".

Yea we really need to educate people. Pray for them. I actually dated on lady who was about 34 years old
(I'm 38) and she told me that though she grew up in the church, no one in her family ever told
her that sex outside of marriage was wrong. She said because everyone did it.

I ended up marrying one. My mistake was thinking she could change or perhaps I should say believing that she did.
To be fair, I also had some lust issues at the time with not guarding my eyes online.

We married and she did tell me about her past but said she had changed and loved the Lord. She talked a good talk.
She knew Bible verses, and talked about God often, and could have great conversations with me about Jesus. She seemed
like a geninue Christian.

We married (5 years) and she ended up cheating on me. Her old devils came back. To be fair, my issues with not guarding my eyes
came up during the marriage and though I was not out there having sex before marriage, I wasn't as pure as I thought
because my mind had been tainted.

It has been 5 years since my divorce and the last 3 relationships I've been in have failed, each averaging about 6 months.
I'm grateful that I'm now in a place where issues of lust are no longer a daily struggle. Before it was a strong fight in my flesh
every day. When I say every day, I mean every single day for years. Every single day, having to crucify my flesh. Now
it is like my spirit doesn't crave to gratify my flesh, I feel satisfied. Negative wandering thoughts are quicker brought captive
for God. Don't get me wrong, I'm not letting me guard down or feeling overconfident. I know the deal.
I have many boundaries and don't consume secular entertainment, movies, and I stay consuming spiritual food daily.

But besides(in addition to) spiritual disciplines (prayer , fasting, bible study), I actually feel as fulfilled when
I'm spending time with God compared to when I was following the lust of my eyes. It is a good place to be when
you recognize that the hungry of the flesh is really a deeper thirst of your soul for Jesus and be able to respond accordingly.


I feel in a good place spiritually and am praying for a new wife. At this phase many women have children and that usually
means the father is somehow involved, whether visitation with the children, or child support or other drama. So I'm not
looking for a woman with children, or someone how has a promiscuous past. For me if I hear a lady says she believes
in sex before marriage, that is my sign to run (flee).

Pray for me that God will bless me with a godly wife.

PS. Jesus came to save sinner, and not only to save sinner, there are also "Benefits" that can be lost. is it worth the risk to enjoy the sin for a season? I want all my benefits! Eternity is a long time I think Sex is over rated, when it is compared to the "Kingdom of GOD"! and Sinners loves Company. And when sinners loose their "Inheritance" they want you to loose yours I am not giving up my "inheritance" just to lie in bed with a woman! i am not going to take that risk.

I repent now! and Do not feed that beast. every where you go thinking about a new husband ,a new wife, you cannot even sleep. walking down the grocery aisle, Walmart stores, all you think about, going to church, 1st new member that show up, Your mind start drifting, into fantasy land. Now you have two divorce people, both into fantasy land and satan is the instigator with a pocket full of "Star Dust"! "i feel so good talking to you" it feels like I always have known you, i like you> I like you too. you coming back to church tonight?

"the True Children of GOD" you know I am telling the truth. It is a trap! and when you cry out to GOD he is going to laugh.

I repent now! and Do not feed that beast. every where you go thinking about a new husband ,a new wife, you cannot even sleep. walking down the grocery aisle, Walmart stores, all you think about, going to church, 1st new member that show up, Your mind start drifting, into fantasy land. Now you have two divorce people, both into fantasy land and satan is the instigator with a pocket full of "Star Dust"! "i feel so good talking to you" it feels like I always have known you, i like you> I like you too. you coming back to church tonight?

"the True Children of GOD" you know I am telling the truth. It is a trap! and when you cry out to GOD he is going to laugh.
(Proverbs 1).
24But since you refuse to listen when I call
and no one pays attention when I stretch out my hand,
25since you disregard all my advice
and do not accept my rebuke,
26I in turn will laugh when disaster strikes you;
I will mock when calamity overtakes you—
27when calamity overtakes you like a storm,

You can be more happy and single with Christ than married with Him.
The Word of GOD has made that clear.

I would say that I'm am not losing sleep worrying about a future wife.
I'm in a place of peace. Fortunately as the years have past I've learned much
how to hear the voice of God. I think it is exciting for a Christian to be led by the Holy
Spirit. That is where I'm at in my life, being led by the Holy Spirit.

If it is God's WILL for me to not marry I'm content and pleased because God knows best
and I'm in a state of humility and dependence on God to accept God's best. Whatever it
may be.

I'm actually to a place in my life that if God led me to a path where redemption and remarriage
is not part of God's plan for my life at this time, I would be satisfied and content in life in my singleness. To God be the glory, whatever stage in life I'm in.
