Socialism vs Capitalism

Economic systems at the end of the day are just methodologies to control the effects off self entitlement and greed. Both center on a selfish desire to claim what I think I am worth. The economic systems showed in scripture being the Torah or Acts to name two add the dimension of giving away in Love, Grace, Mercy and Forgiveness.

Economies do not do well with the good morals found in scripture. Those are to be dealt with either personally or in a theocracy, and in the Israeli example of theocracy, its obvious that doesnt always turn out well either. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Only those filled with the Holy Spirit and that Love God and His ways can effectively rule and judge a people serving God. The capitalists and socialists have neither and make it a point to NOT allow faith to be a part of the process, .... although american capitalism does promise freedom of religion, although many in govt are trying to change that as socialism and power hungry people try to take it over. Jesus didnt try and change the govt of the time to help the people more, He said "You do it!". So stop complaining about the govt not doing "YOUR" job in helping others. Part of your job is promoting leaders who care about good morals found in scripture, and actions speak louder than words.

Economics is the "Wilful/Political Misunderstanding of Commerce", and its proponents invariably build their proposals on the little word........................if.

Well, I've studied matters related to those 2 economies, so here's what i think.

In fact, none is the right way, because both say great things about their form of economy, but both are making people slaves.

Both are disgusting.

Hi without capitalism nothing would be discovered that God put
here in the first place.
We would all be gardeners as some are in the world right now.
Most things that are made, there is money involved
you could expand on this theory
No system is perfect, that is why Jesus is coming back with a new
spiritual order planned from the beginning
With Love, Wnl

If you live in the US, then you live in a socialist-capitalist country.
firefighters don’t pick and choose which houses to save from fires based on how much the tenants paid.
Police officers don’t (or shouldn’t) pick and choose who to protect and who to serve based on salary.
both of these professions are paid for by tax payers dollars, and serve everyone. this is an example of socialism.
more obvious examples would be how the city turns on street lights, fix roads, maintain traffic lights/ signs, etc etc. all of which is socialism.
capitalism is the private business that can choose who they can serve based on the rules of the establishment, ie. a resturant reserves the right to enforce their “no shirt, no shoes, no service policy. The hypothetical restaurant gets their pay from patrons, and survives the competition from other restaurants by serving the best food, and is thereby able to climb the ladder to success.
I don’t see much of an issue with these concepts when applied correctly.
a pure socialist economy doesn’t work, as you can see with Venezuela or any other country that the US tries to get involved with.
I don’t know of any countries that are purely capitalist, but if you were to apply the above examples and make firefighters and police private business, then I doubt that that society would last very long.
