Something to remember about prayer

You really think so Amadeus2? Humm Check out matt 6:7 if you told your mom, I am going to the store,do you need anything,and her reply is are you going to the store son? Why would you tell this to her in the first place? God hears great the first time!hehe he does not need an echo hehe to be reminded,we have to be reminded to listen long enough to what he wants from the store!! LOL Or what he may wish us to do on the way!

I had 5 bucks in my pocket, to buy our family some bread,along the way a poor soul pushing a shopping cart passed me by,and the Holy Spirit said to give him the 5 dollars and tell him, the Lord has heard his cry. I knew myself well enough to know that if I would have thought about it, i never would have done it. I did as i believed the Lord told me to do.No questions. But now I have to go home without bread!!( 1 cor 10:13) Mom and brother will think I have lost my mind! As i was on my home, praising the Lord for using me as he did,I noticed something green behind a bush.It was a 20 dollar bill! Now not only could I buy bread, but food on that bread! It pays to listen to the Lord,it pays even more to follow his words,for God ALWAYS rewards!! ( hebrews 11:6) When I got home and told my family what the Lord had done for us,they were amazed.But even more!! They were as I!!! THANKFUL!!! amen! 1 thess 5:18!!

im pretty sure the reason it says not to pray in repeated fashion is because the religious did so to prove their rightiouness before men in Christs time.. so if we pray the same thing over and over it is vain if it is to show men how religious we are ..Gods example is come first with thanksgiving and praise ..it Humbles you and puts youre spirit in order before God .....!....Rev

No, my friend, that is not what I said or intended. My focus was on the heart of a person who prays. The pharisees who were critcised by Jesus had the wrong things, the wrong purposes, in their hearts when they stood and prayed publicly and aloud for all to hear. They were concerned with what the people thought rather than what God would desire.

"A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things." Matt 12:35

"Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God." Matt 5:8
