Sugar: Just Love Your Children To Death

In my opinion, white sugar gives out high energy and if you are in some emergency circumstance, such as being trapped inside your car if you crash into a river bank at night time for several hours, especially in the cold winter temperature under 15* C then grab your bar of chocolate that you have left in your glove box to prevent hypothermia .:*:.

LOL! I am always open to others opinions....especially in emergencies...and i`m freezing to death!

Eddy Fire;220685 I find this thread a bit confusing as I am sure that we have been TOLD that any thought of what you put into your mouth as being in any way wrong or a bad example or something we as Christians ought to be careful about is totally and utterly wrong and un-scriptural and unacceptable. if you believe that sugar is of no consequence because you are saved said:
Yes I agree EF it is very confusing. The thread simply asking an opinion on smoking gets condemned as been judgemental. This thread that actually suggests how bad sugar is to the point it can kill your children stays very calm.

I think as jiggyfly stated in the smoking thread about people having sacred cows. I suppose for some its sugar and for others its smoking

This is a very interesting thread . Sugar is ni everthing, in processed foods in kidz drinks etc etc
Parents need to have a healthy awareness of this fact cos most children like sugar and will eat far too much.

This thread is about children and nutrition, not about how to act like one. Perhaps those who are playing at being confused, would benefit more from reading what Jesus had to say about how grown children act in the marketplace, than anything I have to say about what is sold there.

Jesus continued, "Now to what can I compare the people of this day? What are they like?
They are like children sitting in the marketplace. One group shouts to the other, 'We played wedding music for you, but you wouldn't dance! We sang funeral songs, but you wouldn't cry!'
John the Baptist came, and he fasted and drank no wine, and you said, 'He has a demon in him!'
The Son of Man came, and he ate and drank, and you said, 'Look at this man! He is a glutton and wine drinker, a friend of tax collectors and other outcasts!'
God's wisdom, however, is shown to be true by all who accept it."

I am very sorry coconut friend if my post offended you. I was bot being childish jusy trying to express some genuine confusion. It seems I don't get much right on the firum I'm constantly getting warned and told off. I am trying my best.

I do think the information on sugar was very good and useful.
Children in the uk have far too much sugar and pocessed food. ADDH and allergies and obsetiy are all on the increase and may be attributed to poor diets with wrong amounts of sugar.

So thanx for this excellent thread and please tell me if I have written anything wrong here
I really don't want to be banned

Thank you sincerely

There is nothing wrong with being concerned about what and how much of this or that we or our children eat. However, it seems to me that there is an over abundance of concern and worry about these things and not so much when it comes to the soul.

I am not saying this about anyone in particular or who has posted here. I am saying, in general, our "churches" and "christians" seem to be caught up in a move to improve the body at the expense of the soul.

I see churches advertising Zumba, yoga (which I believe is wrong), exercise class and etc......is this the job, duty, mission of the church?

Christ said "Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel" not go ye into all the churches and condition the body

This is not my first rodeo mackem lady..... the only thing you are trying your best to do here is act innocent while attempting to make me look bad...but you have left a trail of evidence behind you, for anyone who wants to know what you are really all about...and it aint sugar.

May as well make a real mess of things, and drench that dish with maple syrup, since the trees been sapped, and the sugars been boiled till it cant be boiled anymore ...

Is sapped even a word?
