I don't have time to look the devil in the eye. I try to keep my eyes upon Jesus. Besides, the devil knows I'M STILL HERE. I don't have to tell him.Coconut said:I’M STILL HERE!
What’s the definition of a “strong” Christian?
Someone who reads his or her Bible every day?
Someone who prays a lot? Someone whose
conversation is laced with Christian expressions?
Someone who invites his or her friends and
neighbors to church?
These are all great things to do, but I believe
the definition of a strong Christian is a person
who has weathered the severe storms of life and
come through not only with their faith in tact,
but stronger. A person who can look the devil
in the face and tell him, “I’m still here! And
there’s NOTHING you can do to shake me!”
“Take my job away – I’m still here! Take my
health away – I’m still here! Knock me down –
I’m still here! Try to mess up my life – I’m
still here!” The person who perseveres with
determination, persistence, patience and tenacity
is what Rev. 3:21 refers to as an overcomer.
Jesus said, “To him who overcomes, I will
give the right to sit with me on my throne.
Just as I overcame and sat down with my
Father on his throne.” This means that when
the going gets tough, the tough get on their
knees. The tough soak in the Word of God.
The tough recruit prayer support. The tough
know how to WAR-SHIP their way through any
and every difficulty in life.
To overcome means to prevail over any
obstacle, to surmount any problem, to get the
better of in any situation. Jesus promises that
He will give a high place of honor in His
kingdom to such people. Revelation chapters 2,
3 and 4 are FULL of promises from Jesus to
overcomers! Do you want to be an overcomer?
Then refuse to give up in the face of spiritual
attack or adversity. Develop a warrior mentality
when it comes to your Christian walk. Stay in
the Word. Learn to recognize when the enemy
is trying to derail you, discourage you, and talk
you into giving up because it’s “just too hard.”
Recruit other Christians to hold you up in
prayer. And above all, WALK in the presence
and the power of the Holy Spirit DAILY. That’s
where your strength lies.
Satan is the accuser of the brethren (that’s
us). We overcome him by the Blood of the
Lamb and by the word of our testimony (Rev.
12:10, 11). So pick yourself up, make sure the
devil can see your NO TRESSPASSING sign,
stand your ground and tell him, “Come what
may. I’M STILL HERE!”

Now feel free to SHOUT I`M STILL HERE!
GLORY TO GOD! I AM, because HE IS!
"I can do (perform or experience) all things through Christ, who strengthens me." (Phil 4:13)
