Am I missing something, I see no editing tools for threads and posts...like bold, underline, font color...ect.

It's all there. Click the link that says use rich text editor right below the text box. By default the rich editor with all the buttons is enabled and default.

So it's XenForo forum software, and the former was vBulletin, correct? And though vBulletin has been more popular for many large Christian forum communities, it's going through some 'issues' which have many sites looking for an alternative.

I'd be interested in hearing a bit about the choice of XenForo over SMF, if that was considered. I know of other sites that have changed to SMF or started there, and other sites which haven't yet decided just what to do. Thanks.

I am missing the way to easily find my own unread posts on a daily basis. As a result I no longer spend much time here.

SMF isn't as advanced and flexible. No appealing themes either. vBulletin is dead and antiquated since IPB bought them a few years back.

Sorry to hear that. Try clicking latest posts in the menu. Or under forum menu, New Posts link. That's the unread posts area.

Unfortunately I can't satisfy everyone's demands and expectations, so it is what it is. I'm not concerned about people posting they won't be part of the community because their demands are not met. That's inconsiderate for the work that goes in here.

Thanks for the reply, Chad. I was simply stating the facts for me providing feedback. Sorry it had to be negative. You must what you must do to accomplish the God's purpose for you.

No worries. I get a little sensitive to certain responses. But true, all for Gods glory and purpose in the end.
