You really need to stick with the UK!
The organization "Citizens for Ethics" has its bias and is left leaning. If you looked for a biased right leaning organization, you would probably find just as many that would say quite a lot about the Biden/Democratic Administration/Political party in the negative as well.

If you don't weigh both sides in this, and try to be nonpartisan, you do no good, but create confusion and distrust for everyone.

If anyone's wondering about the background to all this, a few days ago I sent a private message to Twistie because she was alarmed by a video she had seen that claimed that there was a Bill in progress to legalise killing children below the age of one month. This is untrue and I assured her that there is no such bill and the claims of the video are lies

She responded by giving me the name of a bill that doesn't exist and a barrage of questions about child abuse and gender definitions - the kinds of issues that fuel the culture wars.

I told her I didn't see the need to answer the questions as I simply wanted to assure her that no politician is proposing legalising infanticide.

She has made the assumption from this that I am a wolf in sheep's clothing and in favour of child grooming etc.

I have followed Jesus through good times and bad all my life. I am deeply concerned about the environment that children are growing up in, and the messages they receive. I don't think it's wise for me to become distracted by the culture wars - that's not my fight.

Assumptions are not based in evidence.
People (certain group) argue from this of "If this, then that."

Generally:
People LOVE drama especially watching, talking, inciting, and gossiping about it.
Assumptions are rarely good when people who do it are making the first three letters out of themselves.

I've not seen anything to indicate that Trump has changed in any significant way. For example, his response when the Access Hollywood tape came out was to give a half apology "I'm sorry if anyone was offended", dismiss it as "locker room banter" and attempt to redirect attention to Bill Clinton.

Can we go back 8-20 years on just about any politician in the US or abroad and check their record of behavior/words and believe they have apologized for those things they've said or done in their past that someone has found offensive in a satisfactory way that would excuse it? That is if it was even reported!!! Of course not! Anyway, they'd (all) be spending all their time apologizing instead of doing what they were elected to do! On second thought, considering how they have used the authority God has granted them, it might not be a bad thing!!!

As far as Trump mentioning Bill Clinton, the majority of the media is liberal/left leaning, and they won't, and when they did, they tried to do everything in their power to protect/shield/excuse the former President Clinton form what happened. If the Congress here in the US had not at the time been from the opposite party, you'd not have heard anything on this subject from the media or government at the time! Now, do you think the media has tried to do the same with Trump, protect shield him?

By the way, why don't you use the politicians as examples from the UK instead, if you need examples of bad behavior? I'm sure you'd be able to find a few...

When most of the people want a good leader, God eventually puts one in place, but when most people dont care about it, and feel they are too spiritual to care about such worldly things (LOL), God lets bad ones in to show us we should be involved enough to do something to try (if the option is available) to keep the really bad ones out. Likewise, when one refuses to see the weight of corruption that falls on one party more so versus the other, God will let the corrupt party in to show the importance of trusting in God and the movement of the Holy Spirit to help make such decisions. And to not trust in your favorite news reporters.

I'm glad my last post did not get you angry. I was going to apologize for it. Because after posting it, I had to leave, then while driving the Holy Spirit reminded me of something you had mentioned long ago. In the UK you would be considered Conservative! While in the US, in truth, you would be a Moderate Liberal. Funny how things are seen depending on Nation in question. I'm sure that if the US Conservatives were in Russia, they'd be seen as being too liberal and you of course would be in prison!!! lol

You are correct in saying "an outsider perspective", and I would add....wayyyyyyy outside! Sadly, you have shown that you don't know her at all. Take a look at the 2020 Democratic primary and see how well, and unifying she is! Her own Democrats didn't vote for her over any of them that were running. The real funny thing about that is that the Google AI won't answer the question of how many participants were in the 2020 Democratic Primary! lol There were actually 27! lol Harris' own state of California didn't vote for her! She finished last of anyone who got delegates! From her own state, who you would think would know her better than the rest!

Considered Decisions: Check out her actions on the Border which she never visited. She talked to the countries in Central America and gave them money! Didn't help at all. But visit the border to see what the issue is and what Law Enforcement, and Local communities were facing? Nope. But she did say that we shouldn't celebrate Christmas, because the children coming across the border couldn't get gifts or celebrate it themselves! Any bets she celebrated it! Trump, a whole of yes in this area.

District Attorney time in California: A lot there, but I leave it up to you to check it out. You might be pro or against Marijuana, so you have to make your own call on that, and her words since!!! lol Now Trump is against Marijuana but believes each State should determine its legalization or not. Like Colorado and few other states.

Uniting rather than dividing: Oh, you really haven't been paying attention to this Administration, and her words as well concerning those on the other side Republicans/Conservatives! Yikes! No different than Biden in saying he was going to unify the country and see what they have called the people who disagree with them and agree with Trump!!!

So, the qualities you believe she has is the reason to vote for her, which are unsupported. Are there actual qualities that she does have, or what policies she believes in that would warrant her to be President? I mean she has a long political history in California, that you can check out as far as her positions.

You don't have to check. I mentioned the above, just to show you that there is much you don't know about her outside of what the Media is now portraying her as being, which sadly is mostly a lie.

So, if you tell me that you'd still rather have Harris instead of Trump...then you need to gut check yourself. I'd respect you more if you said, I won't vote for either one!
