I doubt that anyone sane would claim that God Himself doesn't have Free Will, and so we are left with the declaration that we indeed are created in the image of God (albeit with our having two genders). How could one believe that man is made in the Image of God if Free Will was removed from that image?

Yet, I don't think that my request to encourage you to be respectful relates to you compromising on the truth.
Showing respect is different than compromising and agreeing.

Respect is a matter of civility and love,
Compromise is when you give up some of the truth to embrace another's position.

I'm not asking you to compromise or give up what you believe. I'm just asking you to show respect. And I'm not "calling you out". I'm

You have apologized PloughBoy and it is appreciated even if Rhema took it as not being sincere. Still a little effort is appreciated.
Now you should apologize as well Rhema. If anything for knowing who you are communicating with having had history, and yet still providing sufficient bait in how you phrase replies to him that elicits the responses you have received. If you have done this unknowingly, then all the more reason to ask forgiveness of Ploughboy.

Even though I know his skin is made of tougher material then many here including myself, I know he is still not immune from the barbs & arrows received. None of us are. This is why my tears for the Body of Christ include both of you. It shames me to see those who have access to the truth of God's Word, having received His Grace, Love, and who should be brethren. Instead behave in such a fashion that befits more enemies of Christ than anything else.

I do not want to shut down the thread, or either of you, for it will pain me to do so. However, continued exchanges like have happened here will motivate me or another Staff Member to do what is necessary to stop the vitriol between you two. And you will know who you are by The works you do! How much of The Bible is in your soul, do you obey the commands of The New Testament Truths, are you a liar, a thief, a fornicator, a Adulterer, a deceiver, do you still love the world and the things in it, do you have fellowship with them are you a faithful wife to your husband or unto your wife, …etc. How much time do you stay in prayer, do you desire and to be conform to this world?

Now what kind of Fruit do you bear?

there is the Fruit that belongs to the Holy Spirit.

And there is fruits [works] that comes from your life. “Who do you associate with”?

Every child of GOD should bear The Works of a Child of GOD and do not be conform to this World.

Now is that not “Good News”?

Yes, we see the same principle in James 1:23.

However much we know of God's truth it is partial, isn't it? Not complete: and will not be so until our hope is realized and we are with the Lord with bodies fashioned like the body of His glory (Phil. 3), and the present limitations of comprehension gone for ever. It is this very human limitation that causes so many of our present problems, specially in regard to our understanding of the Scriptures. What we are seeing now is likened to a reflection in a mirror and often puzzling at that ('in an enigma' literally).

'But we all, with open face
beholding as in a glass
the glory of the Lord,
are changed
into the same image
from glory to glory,
even as by the Spirit of the Lord.'
