I did not say everyone will jump out of wheelchairs tommorow, however if they stand in faith and believe the promise of healing, God is not slack and they will have what they promised. It is also true that people get closer to God in times like that, however that does not mean it is ever Gods will for them to remain that way. And it is true that many will wait to be healed in heaven, that is not because it is not Gods will to heal them, but because they do not believe to be healed according to His promises, this does not mean He loves them less or they are to be condemened or anything it just means that they cannot partake of that part of His promises here that was given to them.
Just because God uses every situation we are in for our good and for His glory does not mean that He wants us to remain in every situation we are in.
It is true we are not to have a bed of roses here, however our problems here in this world are suppose to be being hated, and persecuted and denying our flesh and dying daily, tribulations and travails etc...
These things are not part of any curse of God what so ever, they are manufactured by God for our good to conform us into His image and to seperate us from the world. Never are we told that are troubles are to be the very curses that Jesus became for us.
There is absolutly no sickness that is not part of the curse. All sickness comes from the sin in the garden and the cursing and blessings in deut 28 which Jesus all bore for us. and we are no longer the children of adam, bound under those things but the children of jesus born from above where there is no curse, no sickness etc...
This does not mean that we will never get sick becasue God punishes sin and He tests our faith. However when we get sick or have any form of the curse we are to look to Jesus- the snake upon the pole- and believe that what He did for us, removed this curse from us and put it upon him. and If it is a punishment which sometimes it can be then we repent and in either case we do not accept this curse because to accept it, is to deny Jesus' work to remove it.
The exact same way this applies, we were also saved from our sins. We are no longer bound to sin and IF we do sin we can believe that when we confess and repent He forgives us and washes it clean from us, as well as He looses us from any bondage we may have that would keep us commiting that sin just like addictions.
These are the ways to live a powerful life in the Lord and to have him manifest in us. It is by partaking in the promises of God, that we partake of His divine nature.
It does not matter what we have seen or do see, what we have felt or do feel, what we have heard or do hear etc.. what matters is what GOD says is true and it is faith to stand in that until it is seen and felt and heard no matter how long that takes.
It does not give glory to God for us to remain under the curse when He says He is our healer. It is the teachings to men who have stolen these promises away from the church but the people who believe and stand in Gods word, they see miracles, they get healed, they get delivered, they see that Gods word stands, that His promises are true and they are never no- or wait till you die and come to heaven . They see the great power of God daily from healings and provisions and deliverances and power of sin and the curse in all forms to resurrection of the dead.:lightbulb
These things are ours, and it is easy to say it is not about us but about God, but because it is about God, He has made it about us because HIS purpose and desire is not that we just get saved and get a toe in the gate, but that we grow in CHrist that we bare much fruit that we become sons not just babes, that we live powerful, faithful, miraculous lives looking more and more like Jesus in every way every day and Jesus didnt walk around sick, and He wasnt helpless to help those who were sick but He healed them and He told us to do the same for others, but these days people have been taught not to even believe for themselves.
It is truly amazing, when you hang in circles of people who do not believe and stand in the promises, you almost never, if ever, see Gods power manifest in us or in this earth.
But when you are around other believers who believe and walk by faith in the whole gospel, not just the toe in the door part, there are new miralces, powerful workings, daily changes, daily signs and overcommings in great abundance.
we are told that the gospel was preached to the israelites in the wilderness with moses-
but it did not profit them, because it was not mixed with faith.
Hbr 4:1 ¶ Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left [us] of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard [it].For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
Hbr 4:10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God [did] from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
Hbr 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.[/U]
resting in Christ is not just believing we will go to heaven, it is knowing in every situation that He is in control, that we need do no work of ourselves to save ourselves, deliver ourselves, provide for ourselves. we can rest truly knowing that He has taken care of it all.
He has already healed us- it is not a matter of asking if he will because He said He already has! we WERE healed. but we must believe that to take hold of it or it does not profit us. It cannot be Gods will for us to stay sick when He already healed us and told us to believe it.
When we worry over bills- we are not resting, when we seek doctors and medicines- we are not resting from our own works. When we are being hated or persecuted and we try to get ourselves out if it- we are not resting. Anytime we are not in faith- we are not resting. and anytime we think God is not in 100% control, or His word cant be stood on- we arent resting.
Isa 53:4 ¶ Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he [was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Mat 7:7 ¶ Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
He says many times He gives us good gifts if we ask him, He does not give us a stone when we need bread etc.. but many say these days He does.
here Jesus calls deliverance " the childrens bread"( arent we His children)?Mat 15:25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me. But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast [it] to dogs.And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great [is] thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.
Mat 8:13 And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, [so] be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.
Mat 8:16 ¶ When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with [his] word, and healed all that were sick: Mat 8:17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare [our] sicknesses.
1Pe 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
2Cr 1:20 For all the promises of God in him [are] yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
Hbr 8:6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. ( we have a better covenant with better promises and healing was even promised in the old covenant)
Hbr 11:33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, we should likewise be doing these things through faith!
2Pe 1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that [pertain] unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
why is there corruption in the world? because of sin that brought the curse.
we are to talk in the kingdom of God, not in this world and in the kingdom of God there is no sickness or curse ( but their are persecutions and being hated for His name sake).
any doctorine that teaches, we have to stay sinners, bound to sin, we have to stay sick and ill, as have to remain bound is a false powerless gospel of flesh.
