The sin of knowledge Greeting I saw a lesson about a truth I live to share something that disturbed my heart
James 4:17 (NKJV)
Therefore, to him who knows to do well and does not do it, to him it is sin.
1 Timothy 5:24 (ASV)
Some men's sins are evident, going before unto judgment; and some men also follow after.
James 4:17 (ASV)
to him, therefore, that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
1 Timothy 5:25 (ASV)
In like manner also there are good works that are evident, and such as are otherwise cannot be hidden.
James 4:17 (NIV)
If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them.
1 Corinthians 3:13-15 (NKJV)
each one's work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one's work, of what sort it is.
If anyone's work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward.
If anyone's work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.
Parents and Children
Raised by your father and mother, and grandparents, knowing the Gospel, having a child knowing the Gospel and decide the sin after knowing, this individual
These are those who knew but willfully sin, those who at the end, I put it this way?
Your heart is examined, I bounce and saw the fire rushing towards me, and it was then I called Christ by the grace you are saved!
Isaiah 55:6-9 (NKJV)
Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.
Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the LORD, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.
Hebrews 10:26-27 (ASV)
For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remained no more a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and a fierceness of fire which shall devour the adversaries.
But the Lord also says
Micah 7:18-19 (NKJV)
Who is a God like You, Pardoning all iniquity And passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not retain His anger forever, Because He delights in mercy.
He will again have compassion on us And will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins Into the depths of the sea.
But don’t be a fool
Romans 9:15-16 (ASV)
For he saith to Moses, and as well with us, I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.
The sin of Simplicity and Ignorance
Luke 12:48 (NKJV) But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him, they will ask the more.
Luke 12:48 (NIV)
But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.
Romans 14: 23; Luke 16: 19 -31
From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked just as the theologian
Matthew 23:2-7 (ASV) example
The scribes and the Pharisees sit on Moses’ seat:
all things therefore whatsoever they bid you, these do and observe: but do not ye after their works; for they say, and do not.
Yea, they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with their finger.
But all the works they do to be seen of men: for they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments, and love the chief place at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues,
and the salutations in the marketplaces, and to be called of men, Rabbi.
