Third Eye?

Hello every one.

I am new to this site. I have been a Christian for many years. I am a gulf war veteran of 1991. I experienced faith testing experiences in war and since then. Since the military or rather at the end of my time in the military I was experiencing things I could not cope with or rationalize with. As a result my career ended. That was 20 years ago. I have had 20 years experience with unexplainable spiritual experiences. Things which I will not describe here only to be judged by you.
The only question I will leave you with for now is, what is the meaning of the third eye and how does it relate to Christianity? That has been my most recent experience and I am trying to rationalize with it.

The third eye, aka pineal gland is not a Christian concept . It is however, a familiar theme in some Eastern religions, and the new (old) age movement. Just my experience: its usage in meditation and attempted ESP or out of body experiences only results in demonic activity. I learned that the hard way as a youngster; it is up to you to choose- the Living God, or the occult.

I did not ask to see it. It just presented itself to me. I wear the armor of God. And being a war veteran I am not afraid to confront them on their turf. Its not always easy, but the armor feels pretty good.

I would be weary about the third eye, i used to dabble in it when my faith in Jesus Christ was light but i try not to purposely use it now. There is only one God. But the people that may teach about the use of the third eye sometimes teach that your a God and by using the third eye you somehow will gain some powers or "enlightenment", they may think they have no need for a Savior and we all know where that leads.

If angels want to communicate with you, they would most likely be sent by God as they are His messengers. Please don't think that you can do something on your side to attain the opportunity of speaking with angels. If God wants you to talk to angels, God will make it happen with no work required by your self, because God is God and can do everything.

Thinking that you can somehow do it yourself may invite demons in that may pose as angels.

Remember Lucifer was an angel of light before He was cast out of Heaven and he seeks to make the people of God, worship him instead of God. It is stated in the bible that angel worship is forbidden:

Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
--- Colossians 2:18

If you have the opportunity to meet an angel face to face and you are aware of the angel in your presence make sure to test his/her allegiance.

John shows us how to test the spirits in the Bible, If they confess Jesus Christ has come in the flesh, they are of God. If the spirit severs Jesus then he/she is of the Antichrist:

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone forth into the world. By this is the spirit of God known; every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh, is of God. And every spirit that severs Jesus, is not of God, but is of Antichrist, of whom you have heard that he is coming, and now is already in the world.

Honestly, I know of no biblical evidence for that, using the occult to see angels is like using poison to cure a cold, not much good should be expected.
I am not writing these things to condemn anyone, just presenting my views based on my life experiences and the truth of the Word of God.

i have been into the new age for many years and well i used to have a so called: full third eye awakening and a fully activated so called "third eye".

i could see things etc but please know that this is not of The LORD GOD but is of satan and are demonic manifestations it is a lie there is no such thing as a third eye really but in fact what it is: a demonic thing and witchcraft that goes with manifestations of demonic activities placed around in the forehead area, just between the eyes and a little above (tingling, crawling and pressing / hot sensations) i also had all my so called: chakra's fully activated, but now thanks be to The Lord God Jesus Christ i now know what seemed to me to be love and light... (third eye awakening, kundalini, chakra's all these filthy new age lies)

in the END was in FACT TOTAL DESTRUCTION DARKNESS AND DEPRAVITY!!

i know that from experience!

Flee from anything new age and spirituality!

FLEE! RUN AWAY FROM IT!

And Turn to The Lord Jesus Christ! Repent and believe the Gospel! Jesus Christ who Came as God in the flesh on this earth Can Save you from all evil, ASK AND CRY OUT to The Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

Believe upon The Lord Jesus Christ The Only Son of God God in the flesh!

There are many gospels out in the world but only ONE IS THE TRUE GOSPEL!

and it is surely not the new age spirituality gospel!

If angels want to communicate with you, they would most likely be sent by God as they are His messengers. We know that "eye's" do not produce light so Jesus could not have been speaking of our "eye's".
There is an eye that is a lamp and that would mean that the light is produced by that eye.

Many translations of scripture use "eye's" instead of "eye" because it pleases the carnal logical mind.
The distinction is there for a reason but it takes much research to sort out why.

Matthew 6:22 "Your eye is a lamp that provides light for your body. When your eye is good, your whole body is filled with light.
Matthew 6:23 But when your eye is bad, your whole body is filled with darkness. And if the light you think you have is actually darkness, how deep that darkness is!

There is a light that is not the true light that is produced by a bad eye and that light is actually darkness.

Bad eye:
Job 24:15 The eye of the adulterer also waits for the twilight, saying, ‘No eye will see me’; and he veils his face.

Good eye:
Revelation 1:7 Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen.
Isaiah 52:8 The voice of your watchmen—they lift up their voice; together they sing for joy; for eye to eye they see the return of the LORD to Zion.

The Bible refers to a single eye(either light or dark) that I feel represents focus.
The term third eye is connected to the occult and freemasonry.

There is so much more to this subject than meets the eye.

Wow. I didn't realize it was that bad. Yes I can sense both the light and dark. In ways that I can not explain. I come from generations of Christian mystics if that is what you call us these days. After returning home from the military my family prayed over me with oil and spoke in tongues while doing so. It was comforting at the time. They went on to show me the armor of God in Ephesians, preparing me for what I would be experiencing in the years to come. Later that year, Christmas day, 1993 I was home alone. My wife and my mother whom we were staying with had gone to be with additional family for Christmas meal. I was in the shower getting ready. I became overcome with fear like I had not experienced. I knew to pray. I got stuck on the same words, Lord please protect me. After saying that repetitively and boldly, a word was displayed in my sight in very bright letters. Shahka. I found out later that it is the word sometimes used for worship.
Even before 1st grade I have seen images of other places. I went through childhood wondering where they were. One night in 1994 I was falling asleep. I was still quite awake and the images started pouring in again. The last image I saw was of me standing over the water facing a shoreline of beings standing on the shore. Directly in front of me was another being, made of pure white light. In 2008 I came across the term Being of Light, or BOL. Others have seen him and often wonder who or what he is. It was comforting to see him.
I've had other experiences. When the thoughts and images start I often tell my family that I do not believe in ESP. They just smile at me. Did I ask for this? No. Can I use it to serve God and bring man closer to God? Would I be considered the antichrist if I did? I have told a fellow sunday school student that I did not believe in ESP. They said it can work too. I know the word Discernment all too well. I learned that one in my early years. Satan has taken many things from me. And I m getting tired of it. God gives all of us gifts and satan will do what he can to steal or distort them. My main focus when I feel esp coming on is to stay Pure in Heart. It sounds like your folks were okay in what they did (based on what you wrote) but you mixed eastern "religion" with Christianity- that is like trying to mix light and darkness.

You may find it helpful to drop terminologies like esp,demons,Bol and "third eye".
By your own reasoning your experiences don't seem to fit anything you've heard described so these words lead people to conclusions based on their take of what these terms mean to them.

You describe your experience very well.=Unexplainable.
But then you try to explain them using terms that are explainable.
John 3:12 But if you don't believe me when I tell you about earthly things, how can you possibly believe if I tell you about heavenly things?

The term Angel means messenger so a demon is a dark thought and an Angel is a light thought(Jesus is the Light).
There is more to it than that because our thoughts affect our drive and focus and so our warfare is not against flesh and blood but against dark attitudes,thoughts and imaginations.

2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

I wouldn't bother trying to explain to or get advice from anyone there is only one way to get clarity:

Essentially when you meditate or try to activate the third eye, you allow some demonic force into your being, thus lending you its sight. You to see what it sees. At least that is my assumption. However it most certainly is demonic as I am currently in a spiritual battle with one now. Although I have never opened it fully DutchChristan had his in the past. The furthest I got was feeling the intense pressure he is describing to the point where it may have popped open. When I began to mix the new age with Jesus, I rediscovered the mark of the beast and felt as though I took it however this does not correlate with scriptures and we all still have time to repent. After I stopped liking/meditating with the sensation on my forehead spasms started to occur all throughout my body from my feet all the way to the tip of my tongue. Practically anywhere. They still happen occasionally to this day. When I was first fighting for Jesus as I like to say I began to experience several events of being paralyzed on my bed. Spiritual warfare is not fun my friend. All spirits are under Jesus Christ's authority therefore its best to stay in him. I have seen many sights since seeking the Lord that I still have time to go to him however I still struggle to this very day. I was only in the New Age since this past October and all it brought me was this as well as being punched in the stomach by an unseen force on December 21st (that anticipated date fueled these practices) as well as having my legs raised in the air with several presences around me. I sought for light but its darkness. I know this.

I pray that you do not get deceived as I did for I am still struggling. Also, dont believe that it is a natural part of your body. The smallest endocrine gland (pineal) at the very center of your brain is set on top of the spinal cord. It cannot possibly create a forehead sensation/frontal lobe sensation. Its purely unnatural and demonic in nature. Watch out for wolves in sheeps clothing. Evil is going to continue to wax on. Time is running out as the length of a day continues to shorten. Time is going by fast. Jesus Christ most certainly is coming soon. Be blessed brother.

The spasms i also had they are called kundalini kriyas, they are involuntary shock moevements that shocks the whole body it is a very evil thing to experience i also felt panick that i did not have my own body under control this devilish power is called: kundalini it is the devils version of the Holy Spirit as we know the devil mimicks the things of GOD as he wants to be like God.

This kundalini is very evil and dangerous! If you look at some "church services" done with Todd Bently you will see that the shocking kriyas and laughing these things are also demonic it is done by the power of the false kundalini spirit and not by the power of the Holy Spirit!

The Holy Ghost makes you to want to fall forward (on your knees face to the floor in reverence to GOD) and not backwards! (as if being wildly pushed over falling backwards if you see what i mean)

There is indeed much deception going on it is very evil. The moment that you became paralysed of fear i also had i could not move and i could not even yell so i whispered: JESUS! And it went away this is a demon that sits on top of you evil entity trying to shoke.

However i do not think that the third eye demons activation is similar to taking the actual mark of the beast but it sure is the work of the devil antichrist!

Know that satan comes as an angel of light, he is a pretender and the deceiver making the people think that some things are good while they are in fact: TOTAL EVIL!

That may very well have been a demonic attack, the moment you felt great fear because when demons come you will feel FEAR, also that wicked word i think it has to do with witches and shamans praying "for" you but in fact it is very EVIL. It has got nothing to do with Christianity and ESP and Jesus CANNOT be mixed. There is only one LIGHT of world and His Name is JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH THE SON OF GOD! Who is GOD Come in the flesh!

Thank you brother. While the attacks havent occurred in maybe over a month, when they did happen I found myself not able to speak or call out for help. I had to think of Jesus and his name and eventually I would be able to call on him verbally.

As for the spasms they seem to get weaker as time progresses. They were never uncontrollable jerks of my limbs but rather simpler spasms anywhere on my body, however theyre distinct and abnormally strong. How is it that you stopped this yourself brother? Was it over time?

As you can see nothing good can come out of spiritual practices other than prayer and the Bible. Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega, therefore we only should trust him, the Father, and the Holy Spirit. I advise everyone to stop these Occult/"New Age'' practices for nothing good can come of them.
