At about 21:50 through 23:55 he starts saying some shocking things like
"Heaven is not the best place for you"
He then says in the book of Revelation the saints who are in Heaven are "weeping"
"The resurrection is designed to get you out of Heaven"
"God does not want you with him forever because it is not in your best interest for you to be with Him"
"You need to read Revelation 21"
"The Bible ends on Earth"

If you all don't mind please watch the whole video just so you can really understand the whole message of what all he is saying but this part was just very shocking to me and I have a hard time understanding or believing these things. How can it be better to be on Earth with all of the horrible things that happen? And with all the horrible evil wicked people we have to live on Earth with? Someone please help me with this and help me understand.

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
(Revelation 21:1 KJV)

Sorry, I'm not sure how that's hard to understand. The heaven that Dr. Munroe spoke about "passes away." So why would anyone want to stay there ??

Personally, I wouldn't want to be in a heaven that passes away.

He was a "Word of Faith" believer, in the same barrel with Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copland, Joel Osteen, Joyce Meyers, Steven Furtick, and a host of others.

False teachers to say the least.

I learned about this cult from Kenneth Copland. He said that the Cross of Christ was the greatest failure and defeat in history!

He went on to say that Christ became a sinner on the Cross and went to Hell for 3 days and 3 nights to suffer for His sins. Then God the Father said that's enough, and He was delivered from Hell. The Cross was a failure and accomplished nothing!

You'll hear a lot of stupid things from these idiots! Why God allows them to breathe is the question I have!

Sorry! I get very upset with these false teachers, especially the "Word of faith" ones.

That's too broad a brush. The Word of Faith movement was Kenneth Hagin Sr. (period - along with a few of his students). Others might want to "hitch their wagon," but having more than a surface understanding, Hagin is "Word of Faith."

False teachers to say the least.
: unamused:

He went on to say that Christ became a sinner on the Cross
I'm not sure if you purposefully chose to misunderstand that teaching or not.

For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
(2 Corinthians 5:21 KJV)
for him who did not know sin, in our behalf He did make sin, that we may become the righteousness of God in him.
(2 Corinthians 5:21 YLT)

Wow I have to be careful who I listen to! I did some more research on Myles Munroe and he was a false teacher. It is scary how some things they teach sound totally right then they start giving you lies. I should probably just forget everything I learned from this guy. Makes me wonder what else he taught that I thought was right and true but was just a lie.

Ok well I have never been taught or known anything about Heaven passing away Earth for sure but not Heaven. I know nothing of that.

Rev 21:1; Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea.

There will be a new heaven after the first one passes away.

Isa 65:17; "For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former things will not be remembered or come to mind.
Isa 66:22; "For just as the new heavens and the new earth Which I make will endure before Me," declares the LORD, "So your offspring and your name will endure.
2Pet 3:13; But according to His promise we are looking for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.

Why will there be a new Heaven? Will we be there? Or just on the new Earth? I still don't understand what Myles Munroe is saying either.

I'm afraid it's you who doesn't understand!

I seen Kenneth Copeland, one of leaders of the "Word of Faith" movement say on tv, "The Cross of Christ played no part in the redemption process."

All of them teach that Christ died spiritually. Joyce Meyers said, "you wont' find this teaching in the Bible, but you feel it in your spirit."

You won't find it in scripture because it's not true!

These people are the "Money Gospel" experts. teaching things you obviously don't know about.

Why will there be a new Heaven? Will we be there? Or just on the new Earth? I still don't understand what Myles Munroe is saying either.

I wouldn't get to hung up on the heaven part. The Bible does say there will be a new heaven. But...

Rev 21:2; And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband.
Rev 21:3; And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them,

Rev 21:10; And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,
Rev 21:11; having the glory of God. Her brilliance was like a very costly stone, as a stone of crystal-clear jasper.

Rev 21:22; I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.

Rev 22:3; There will no longer be any curse; and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His bond-servants will serve Him;

Rev 22:14; Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city.
Rev 22:15; Outside are the dogs and the sorcerers and the immoral persons and the murderers and the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying.

It says the New Jerusalem will come down "out of" heaven. That's where the Father and Jesus will be. That's where we will dwell with them.

Well that can mean possibly two different things.
a. A new planet for humans in another location, that has a new night sky due to the changes in star patterns. Hense the new heaven, as in the heavenly realm as we see it is different.
b. All of the current universe (including heaven) is destroyed and a new universe is created.

Most of the scholars I've read say that "pass away" does not mean annihilation, but rather a changing from one condition to another.

They say a refurbishing to erase all the sin in the universe. This "passing away" will leave no traces of sin ever existing.

It will be a new heaven and earth in that respect.

I don't know, it's what I've read from some very respectable scholars.

I think BAC gave a few more supporting scriptures.

So, that might be where this preacher is coming from.

The New Heaven, yes. That would be a better place. The current one? According to the text it wouldn't be a better place.

But if wish to call the scriptures that @B-A-C "crazy" I guess you could.

I seen Kenneth Copeland, one of leaders of the "Word of Faith" movement
If you could politely provide a source for why you think Kenneth Copeland is a leader in the Word of Faith movement.

I'm afraid it's you who doesn't understand!
And I'm afraid it's you who doesn't have any experience.

I met with Kenneth Hagin Sr., and even carried his pulpit.
But Copeland was never an affiliate, nor leader in the WOF. Copeland's his own thang.
Same with Meyers.

It's a bit like thinking all Germans are Nazi... They are not.

But if you have proof that these others ARE officially part of Hagin's Word of Faith organization, please present it.
(If you don't have it, then don't lie about such stuff.)

Thanks,
Rhema

He is just another troll.
Word vomit when you don't wish to take the time to get the details straight, and then get upset when you're shown to be wrong.

I hadn't expected that from you.

How disappointing.

"Kenneth Copeland stands today as one of the Faith movement's leading spokesmen."

Here's his logo from March, 2021.

Kenneth Copeland Ministries' mission is to minister the Word of Faith, by teaching believers who they are in Christ Jesus; taking them from the milk of the Word to the meat, and from religion to reality.

You may have met him, but you don't know anything about who he really is, and the blasphemy he teaches!

Copeland has always taught that Christ died spiritually a sinner--lost, spent 3 days and nights in Hell, and was born again when God said that's enough!
