Strangely enough, friend, I consider God gave us minds to use to work things out. God does not expect automata but rather truly human beings. It is not our job now or ever to judge Jason, for we cannot know how his heart stands with God, we can contend with his world-view BUT ONLY FROM A PLACE OF COMPASSION & CHRISTIAN LOVE.

Dear brother Kiwi,
I once read years ago that homosexuality is found in all creatures..I don't recall the author's name. I attempted to research this in scriptures to support that but to no avail, however, I do remember the author's name of the scriptures and His book is so consistent with Truth. His name is God, He is Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit who speaks in LIGHT! Praise you, Lord.
This research you share..can also be compared with another..Certain chemicals that can stimulate and alter the human flesh and mind the same way it can with animals. I find that the flesh will crave but the spirit will defeat this only with the faith of our Father's leading, however, it only works with beings with a soul, not animals.
God's command is for us to love our brothers and sisters and leave the condemnations to God. This is biblical. That is not the problem. Its the sexual act that will not be condoned. The wisest choice words, "abused used" theology is not going to impress me, or my brothers and sisters, who remain steadfast in the Word, and will not be swayed by the wind.
Please read and meditate on 2 Timothy 3:7-9, always learning but never able to acknowledge the Truth. Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these men oppose the truth - men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned are rejected. But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone.
Exodus International is questionable and their methods are arguable. I will tell you the truth..It is not "the" perfect solution to homosexuality. But the harvest is plenty and the workers have been few. The few brothers and sisters at Exodus in Florida and their chapter in San Francisco have received solid counseling, have received our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and have been strenthened to walk away from men to men and women to women "sexual" activity. This does encourage and offer hope to those who struggle with this.
Offer the scriptures from God's Word that support this research that you are suggesting, making homosexuality behavior acceptable, then perhaps we can agree, Kiwi.

When anyone does not want to face the truth in God's Word, their own fleshly nature wants to do what pleases them the most. The results being - their heart has become hardened and they are blind to the truth; always living with doubt and searching for the 'truth'. Truth only exists with genuinely humbling oneself before Jesus and opening our hearts to Him that He might convict us of the Truth (should) we be wrong. I say (should) for we can think we are so right and be so proud that we cannot even come to Jesus for correction.
Jesus tells us to come to him as a child, a child is uncomplicated and does not have a head full of knowledge.
Keeping humble, with the knowledge that our foolish nature can easily lead us astray, is a mark of a mature Christian. This humility causes us to be always open to correction from God, who saves us from deception and sets us free from the lusts and addictions that weaken and destroy us. Hence Paul's teachings in Romans about 'death' to self and 'alive' to Christ.

Regarding the mariage issue here in Canada as a tip of the iceburgh appearing from the vantagepoint of sin in my nation and a proof of the heart of the church toward God in a generally corporate sense, that denotes lukewarmness.

He binds Himself to His Word, which is the fruit of His Character, which Carries Love and integrity, Righteousness and Truth. Holiness and Mercy to those who respectfully look to Him for support.
When we become angry, bitter, resentful and respond in a manipulative way, we enter into the same category as those who oppose what is upright.
We may esteem ourselves to be wise and capable of handling the matter in our own way and God respects our right to freely chose how we live out our lives;
however,We normally are unnaware that no matter how wise we are as humans, that our load of wisdom is 3 bricks shy a full measure and we wind up losing the life of victory that we are seeking, not to mention the torment we put ourselves through, because of our ill placed plans. Much better to let God deal with those who offend us. If we become envious of their appearant success, we begin to angle in on the same patterns of thought and start opposing God. We need Gods total Truth, or we starve for Wisdom, understanding and the knowledge of God, and His incomparable Truth. Gods purposes have no substitute, all ways not directed by Him lead to separation from Him. I believe Jesus.
Some people are under the impression that when a Jesus Person expresses a need for protection, that they are feeling unloved, and are imature in their faith, but this is more often a premature judgement.
The world does not have to wory about trials and tests the same way the Jesus person does, the world presenting no threat, to the prince of darkness. The true believer, the Jesus Person, the born again believer, is a threat, because he or she believes in a way that is not mixed with the worldly interpretation of God and His purposes. Today the church at large has mixed its love for God with a love for the World, its system of belief, independant of God, and the Self centerred nature that this world system supports.
I am not going to declare that the Jesus Person is perfect and I have had to correct that thought in someone recently. I had to correct this person advising that the Christian life is progressive, to advise that the Jesus Person, is a Believer that does not believe the walk of faith to be impossible, but through Christ Jesus, and Christ alone he is saved. Saved Firstly, in his Spirit and that salvation is absolutely complete at the time of decision. There is then a salvation of the heart and soul which after salvation still have the soil of worldly influence and belief. The Jesus person, knows that they have shortcomings to overcome and that now they must daily, be open in heart to giving every issue to Jesus as they move from experience to experience. The prayerful objective of the true believer, is to increase in faithfulness in thier surrender to our Heavenly Father through a relationship with Jesus Christ, such that the old nature fades away, not in appearance, but in experience and fact.
The reason the world today is increasing in darkness is relative to the waning committment of the Church to seek first the Kingdom of God in Spirit and in Truth. Today they follow tradition and what looks much like superstition. The Church needs to be recoverred from the ways of the world if God and His Son, Jesus are to have their rightful place.
Heavenly Father stir the Church's heart with your Truth, stir my heart heart with your Truth, bring conviction of upright faith and conduct back to those of us who are called by your name, In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ let this request appear in our experience of reality with You, we are poor in holiness for the lack of love in our walk with you, we have begun to look fo satisfaction in performing outward show and have forsaken the Calling of our heavenly Father, bring us back to the exchanged life, the life wherein we love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, and wherein we love our neighbour as we love our own lives. You do not require sacrifices of life, money or good works, because you have those when you have our sincere love, help us to put off our lukewarmness and to stop going through the motions of faith and bring us to a place of integrity. Amen.
