I am reading "The first will be last" by DC Robertsson. I am half way and very interesting for someone who is interested to understand psychology in a biblical perspective. I am a family therapist so enjoying it so much.Hey all! What are you currently reading? The weather is warming up and summer break is coming soon for the highschoolers; so what is everyone reading?
I'm currently reading 'How Green Was My Valley' by Richard Llewellyn...though it's getting a little strange toward the end.
'How Green Was My Valley' is a slice of life novel written by an absolutely poetic author...but sometimes his comments come off a little odd. The main character, Huw Morgan, lives in a Welsh coal valley where he learns all sorts of things from mining coal, of course, to how to fight boys at school.
A more modern read, 'Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children' is also a good read. It follows a teenage boy, Jacob Portman, who searches for the truth behind his grandfather's past. Jacob's grandfather mentioned things like monsters and special children; it's very interesting who the real monsters are...you'll find out who if you read the book.
With a term paper due shortly, reading probably shouldn't be a top priority..but it's fine. We're fine.
