What is the Bible about?

43) Cold or Hot Anger?

  • In Judges 3, Yah.weh allows nations to stay in Canaan!
  • It was a way to test Israel!
  • Would they obey Yah.weh’s commandments he had given to their fathers through Moses!
  • Because of their constant unfaithfulness, they were put to the test!
  • As a consequence, they took their daughters as wives and their own daughters to their sons and thus they served their gods!
  • And the situation got worse and worse!
  • Today we can see exactly the same situation!
  • Nothing has changed and won’t change!
  • Thus Yah.weh will clean the earth!
  • Time will come when only those who obey Yah.weh’s commandments will get the promised land!
  • And only them!
  • SIMPLE!
  • It doesn’t matter if men don’t want to understand!
  • Yah.weh is the boss, not man!
  • That is divine balance, divine justice!
  • No human justice which is a joke!

- They don’t check by themselves !

48) Cold or Hot Anger?

- Following Judges 6:1

- Pure patience but then a heavy price to pay!

- According to Judges 6:2, it was total domination by Midian over Israel!

- They had to hide in the mountains in the caves!

- According to Judge 6:3,4, they would destroy their harvests!

- According to Judge 6:6, Israel became poorer and they started calling Yah.weh for help!

- It would happen again and again till Yah.weh would organize the destruction of Jerusalem!

- But Yah.weh did it progressively and twice and the second time it was completely destroyed!

- And it is not better with mankind!

49) Cold or Hot Anger?

- In Chapter 10, the Israelites begin to worship all the gods of thev people of the region except Yah.weh!

- They abandon him as usual!

- As a consequence, Yah.weh becomes very angry!

- So he sells them into the hands of the Philistines and the Ammonites!

- So they oppress them for 18 years!

- Israel is greatly distressed!

- Finally, they call to Yah.weh for help!

- But Yah.weh is fed up!

- He doesn’t want to save them anymore!

- He tells them to call the gods they serve for help!

- But they remove the foreign gods and serve Yah.weh!

- Thus Yah.weh doesn’t tolerate Israel’s suffering anymore!

50) Cold or Hot Anger?

- In Chapter 13, the Israelites abandon Yah.weh again!

- So he gives them to the Philistines for 40 years!

- Can we call it anger?

- For me, it looks like a ritual!

- The Israelites never respect their part of the covenant so they pay the consequences!

- They look like children or teenagers who never grow up!

- Finally, Yah.weh sends them a judge to help them!

- Samson!

- Same for mankind!

- Man never grows up!

- He is good for nothing!

- But Yah.weh will put an end to this farce!
