A Crumpet and coffee combination sounds good.

(Thats if American crumpets are the same as Australian crumpets that originate from the UK)

What is your favorite breakfast?

Eggs mostly in various forms, sometimes cinnamon life cereal, sometimes butter and peanut butter on toast.

Favorite would probably be 4 soft poached eggs over 3 slices of toast (shredded into a bowl). We have about a dozen chickens.

No regional specialties for breakfast, maybe 40-60 years ago there would be, but now, its quite a variance.

We call those english muffins here. After toasting them, you slather on the butter as shown and then jelly or peanut butter.
