Saved believers should believe that God is able to lead them away from temptations and deliver them from the evil one, & even help you cast down wicked imaginations and think on good things.

Otherwise, we would all give in to every thought and every impulse and nobody be able to resist the devil and just be adulterers, fornicators, masturbators, homosexuals, haters, murderers, and so forth and so on.

It is ironic that saved believers will tell other believers struggling with sin to go to Jesus for help but when it comes to their own struggling sins, they don't go to Jesus for help in laying aside every provision for the flesh ( the weights ) as well as the sin so as not to keep doing them with His help after asking for His forgiveness.

How many have heard that homosexuals cannot help be who they are? Guess what? Bigots can say the same thing. Jesus Christ came into the world not only to give eternal life for all who believe in him but also to deliver them from their sins so that sins will not have dominion over their lives so they can no longer live in sins, but be free and walking in the light in fellowship with the Father & the Son.

As for what no one wants to talk about...

Ephesians 5:10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. 13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.

14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. 15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

And the love of many will go cold, too!

And that is a Promise!

“And many will stumble and fall” and that is another “Promise”!

“And many will have to bear the infirmity of The Weak” and that is A “Promise”!

“and if anyone cause one my little ones to stumble and fall it would be better if a mill stone was hung around his neck and to be cast into the depths of the sea”

That is a promise.

Who knows if someone has cause someone to stumble and fall?

Only GoD knows the hidden secrets and motives of a man or women. And those who mock and gloat at ones calamity.
