I attend a Christian Church...they believe in One God...1+1+1= 1 otherwise known as the trinity.

I believe "I Am + Invisible Spirit + begotten Son = One God Almighty

I was attending a Southern Baptist church, however, they were not very accepting of new potential members and one of the women tried to engage me in an argument about my life choices, so I left. I now attend a wonderful, beautiful, super welcoming non-denominational Christian church.

Can someone explain exactly what a non-denominational church is?

And, how do you find one? Is it on their sign on the church? How would you know what they believe? Just wondering.

I have been to several non- denominational churches who claimed ot be non denominational and my experiences haven't been all that great.

My best bet to you. Is to just lok up on line about what a non - denomational is. Because there are different views. Moslty that they are just not in agreement of the pre existing established churches, but there are many other ideas what they are on line.

As far as I am concerned most are just like most other churches. And I don't think it would matter. EIther the Pastor and teachers came into knowledge about influencing hamanity or they don't have it.

Personally I have gathered that non - denominational is not reall a non denominational. They all pretty much claim to be the right way and dominal view. some non denomaitonal is more prone to liberalism but others just becuase they are not in agreement by prestanding reformers or of Catholic ect.

Your best bet if you want to try a few to get your own view. Is look it up in the phone book under, non - denomination and visit one or check out a few.

personally I just believe in God denomination. Theres only one church and many of them who claim to be the church really aren't ...ONe can only be of the church peronsally in spirit to desre to live for God. The true one and not the god of ones own imagination.

To desire to do what is just right, pure and true in heart in your every encounters of your every day life. Is the only way to worship God.

To me it's not the sign over the door or out front, The best way to find a good church is not even by talking to the people that go to any particular church.

The best way to find a good church is the same way a person should read the scriptures, Pray and ask for the wisdom and guidence of the Holy Spirit to guide you and give you the wisdom you need to make a deceision. Then don't be suprized to find some very worldly people where ever you go because they are in every church.

The main thing especially in these times, is to beware of false teachers and false prophets that can lead a person astray.

For some good scripture reading on this: See Matthew 24: 23-26.
No matter what the church name is, a true church is the one where
Jesus is the Head.

I presently attend a 1st Presbyterian Chruch. I am a Chrisian first and a church goer second because I believe in fellowship and not necessarily all the doctrines of a particular church. As long as Christ and the Bible is the foundation, that is crucial, after that, I feel that all denominations have made mistakes in their, man-made, in interpretation and doctrines. None are perfect and free of sin, no not one!

church poll

I attend a independent church. There is no higher leadership than God himself. Denominations are just people who don't like something so they go and establish there our ideas. Religion means to return to bondage

It is where ever the Lord sends you "my little chicky", there are good Christians there and others that need to hear the truth too!

My church is a nondenominational church, Spirit-filled and Spirit-led.

I attend a non-denominational Bible church (New Life Ministries) here in Prescott Valley, Arizona.

What Church Do I Attend?

Peace be unto you,

I do not presently attend any church. Haven't found one that I like yet.

I Peter 4:14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.

I Peter 4:15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.

I Peter 4:16 Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

I Peter 4:17 For the time is come that judgement must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

I Peter 4:18 And IF THE RIGHTEOUS SCARCELY BE SAVED, WHERE SHALL THE UNGODLY AND THE SINNER APPEAR?

I Peter 4:19 Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

what church do i attened

actully i am not sure, i started goin about 1 month and i rweally never asked or thought about it, i think it is non-denomanational

As a kid I went to a Baptist church. Later I joined a Church of God. I have not attended church in several years. I still pray, I still talk to God and I still read my bible. I even chat with other believers. I have nothing against going to a church, I would just rather have bible study with friends or a small group, or sit and read alone.

How is that an alternative to being a part of a local body of believers? Who are your leaders ion Christ? Who do you lead? How do you fulfill your ministry gifts---and how are you trained in them? Who corrects you? Who holds you accountable?

I don't think you understood my reply. I do talk to other believers. My brother in law is a preacher, I ask him questions. I am still in contact with a pastor I had growing up. I ask him questions and talk to him too. I have family/friends that I talk to and if I have questions I go to them. If I need prayer, I ask them to pray with me and they do the same with me if they need prayers, I pray. If they do not understand something about a verse or what God says about something, I try to help them. If one of us is headed down a wrong path, we let each other know! We hold each other accountable. Who holds you accountable? Just because I do not go to a physical church building, does not mean I am any less a Christian and doesn't mean I ain't serving God! I feel closer to God when I am around friends talking about God, praying and having fellowship in my back yard or at someones house than I do dressing up for a 1 hour service! Again, I am NOT bashing churches. I have been to some churches that were Holy Spirit led and were great. So please how is what I am doing wrong? Are we Christians required to dress up every Sunday and sit in a physical church building for services? Or can we have some friends over and read the bible, talk about the bible and pray? I feel God's presence more when I am among some close friends talking about God and having fellowship than I do in a building full of people. I have a special needs son and I do talk about God with him and pray with him. I teach him that it is important to have a relationship with Jesus and discuss other biblical topics with him best he can understand. So, hope that answers your many questions that you had. If not I do not know what else to say.
