Why do English speaking Christians wrongly use the Hebrew name of Jesus?

The question Jesus/Yeshua asked: Who do you say I am?

So, of great import is us asking ourselves how we will answer them who ask us who He is.
Let's hope and pray that we have, are given the words to reply to them rightly.

“When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?” So they said, “Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.””
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭16:13-16‬ ‭

I think bro this question depends of our true revelation of who the Lord is in our lives. True revelation happens when we earnestly seek the Lord, just like peter. Boldly he says what the Holy Spirit reveal to Him about Christ because he experienced it himself by earnestly seeking Him ( one of those is asking the Lord to show His glory by letting him walk in the water )

You are right lets keep on praying that may we have the true revelation of who the Lord is in our lives.

May that true revelation brings new birth in us...may that true revelation leads us to our true purpose in HIM

Then why should we use a Hebrew name if the Gospels are written in koiné helleniké? It would be ιησους then. But that is not His purpose here, guys.

Why does God let him call His Son either Jesus or Jesús or Jesu or any other name? Well, Sue already mentioned what happened in Babel, but there is another reason, He wants people of all nations and tongues to worship Him! That is another way how He can show us all His Glory, His Might and His Wisdom!

Revelation 7:9-10
9
After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

Matthew 28:19 "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:"

Matthew 24:14 "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come."

Matthew 25:31-32
31
"When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:"
32 "And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:"

Mark 13:10 "And the gospel must first be published among all nations."

All languages are another sign themselves of the end of times!

God knows a person's heart, to Him, Father , Son and Holy Spirit, it is what comes from the heart that is most important.

A new soul that is just born-again, needs milk and can call God, Father, Son or Holy Spirit what they think after reading or hearing a small amount of scripture.

An experience soul, in The Word, has learn more, so what ever level you may be in learning and growing in faith, The Lord knows your heart.

Is God,,, Father, Father God, G-d, Abba father, Papa, etc, or an Hebrew term? God is not concerned, there could be more love, more Jesus in the heart of a new believer than one who knows a lot more scripture.

God takes us all, as we are, sinners, and over time, takes away our heart of stone and replaces it with a heart of flesh, He prepares us for Heaven. He knows our hearts.
