Why is everyone avoiding topics about the lgbt community?

First of all where do you get those numbers from? I would like to see a source
Second, I doubt they “escaped” it. Most of them were probably forced into saying that because they didn’t want to get disowned/shunned.

Because I want help. I want to know if I can still be trans and Christian at the same time. I can’t change myself. I can’t stop being trans. I don’t do this for attention or to be quirky. I do this because it’s what I am.

Nobody can change themselves. God is the only one who can change a person, and he does that through the new birth. (becoming born again) He gives his sons and daughters the power to have dominion over sin.

Hi Bug & Catholina. I appreciate you're having a tough go with spiritual things. My church has gotten on a "Have you hugged an LBGTQ person today?" kick. We all need Jesus in our lives regardless of whether we're saints, career sinners, or the lowest of the low. My church had an open house on the subject and I said my piece not to condemn, but to express a thought which many don't get in their "God is love" attitude.

The word repent does mean to turn away, but it's used on a spiritual plane that we must learn to stop preferring to do things our way. I'm not pointing fingers of blame or condemnation. Genetics sometimes mixes things up which can result in a lot of problems to be dealt with. Some have it easy, others not so much.

While many churches are jumping on the LGBTQ bandwagon, they do not grasp that while sinners are welcome, the Church cannot condone short comings. I agree we all have issues, but some things are more difficult to overlook than others. I've read a member of the Mafia was an upstanding and well respected member of his church and in turn the congregation overlooked his criminal life.

Do you trust Jesus? Do you believe he can change you? A swim coach can teach you how to swim, but you have to want to swim. Take him at his word and find people of the opposite gender you like to spend time with. That doesn't mean turn your back on same gender friends. Well, you get the idea.

As Psalms 119:105 says, Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. May the Good Lord continue to draw you toward righteousness baptized with the Holy Spirit as his child. Cheers.

It’s two men who love each other. What’s so wrong with that? What’s wrong with love? Why can’t we all just get along and listen to each other?

That is what we call "fleshly lust" (works of the flesh) not love. Not normal for two men to kiss each other on the lips. Why do you think God made women for men? Can two men repopulate earth or two women? Mankind would cease to exist if the whole world thinks it is normal behavior.
