People can give their money away to whomsoever they wish, but the law of the tithe was the portion of the harvest that was given to the Levitical priesthood, which was a sign of spiritual things to come.

oh yes have read the whole book way over 100 times in almost 50 years the old testament and some of the old testament more. I know what is in there, and the new testament al most 1000 times in years the whole Book. I am not a verse man,
