Why speak in tongues – if we have AI translators.

Doesn't make any sense. We have salvation faith which is given to us to believe in the Salvation plan - but we now do not have enough faith.

Whereas the greatest faith to have is to believe IN Jesus.

Eph 2:8,9 "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast."
Saving faith comes from scriptures that describe salvation. Healing faith comes from scriptures that describe healing which Jesus bore for us. Speaking in tongues requires faith that come from scriptures that describe what believers should receive once they are saved. It has nothing to do with making sense that comes from the flesh.

Healing faith?

God is God he can do anything.

Wither you have faith or not. If he so decided.

Where has this miraculous healing faith been exercised - today?

In Mark 5:21-43, two miraculous accounts are found together: the healing of the woman who had an issue of blood for twelve years and the raising of Jairus's twelve-year-old daughter.

Today no one has been raised from the dead.

Mark 5:34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.

Every single day people are being healed, born again, having all of their needs met, and having authority over all of the works of the devil all based on the promises of God and the faith that each promise gives!!!

It's around. I've seen people get up out of wheelchairs myself. People I knew personally, not some scam artists.
My wife had stage four cancer. Completely gone now. I myself was in a bad motorcycle accident, not expected to walk again, or even live. But here I am, I went walking the dog this morning.

I've seen prostitutes changes, drug users, alcoholics all change and be set free.. I've seen Muslim's converted, atheists start believing... You don't think those things are a miracle?
If you haven't seen any of this, you're looking the wrong direction. I've been set free from pornography, it controlled me for many years, but not any more.

Today no one has been raised from the dead.

Well, I haven't seen anyone physically raised from the dead, you're right. But I see people spiritually raised from the dead quite frequently.

2Tim 3:5; holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these.

In Bible times they didn't have doctors and surgeons. If God didn't heal you, well... chances are you didn't get healed.
Most of the time God used people to do these things, prophets, apostles, disciples...

But today we have technology, weather forecasters, doctors, dentists, surgeons.
So, when someone does get healed... who do we give the credit to? The doctors and surgeons of course.

Why even pray anymore, if you believe God can't do anything or change anything.
But even with doctors giving medicines, and doing surgeries, some people die. Maybe often the reason they live or get healed ( even with a doctors help )
is because God was working too.

Gal 3:5 Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

What,s the point today? -
The "POINT" is that God gives you the ability spiritually to DO something, which EDIFIES you. (1 Cor 14:4)
Apparently God's GIFT to you means nothing and is unimportant. OR you believe that 1 Cor 14:4 is a lie.

I have never seen that in any Pentecostal/Charismatic Church.
I haven't seen it either over the last 60 years, but I'm aware From missionary testimonies that it does occur. In the beginning Assembly of God Missionaries THOUGHT that they'd be able to use "Tongues" to minister in languages they didn't know. They couldn't. And now they take language courses for the field they're going to. However miracles of speech have been recorded. Or, of course, you can believe that Pentecostals are all bald faced LIARS.

Mark 5:34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.
That was Jewish person - before the cross. Who was NOT a born again Christian. So did not have any positional or legal benefits other than her faith. We do! We are children of the most high. And have faith to believe that we are.

"Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?— 6 just as Abraham "believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness."

7 Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham."

We are the sons of Abraham and the sons of God - so we do have faith.

Other wise we would still be lost.

Nope - not in any sense. Evangelical license - yep . Fueled by understandable intense desire and conviction to convert the lost.
The "Assemblies of God" denomination is a "Missionary Society" at its core. In the U.S. there are about 3,000,000 of us.
Bbut in the World the AG is over 85,300,000. The AG commits to educating indigenous pastors, and church leaders, particularly in the "ZERO ZONES" where no Christian churches or missionaries are allowed.

How about a gentile woman’s faith?

Mat 15:28 Then Jesus answered and said to her, "O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire." And her daughter was healed from that very hour.

How about a gentile woman’s faith?

Matt 15:22; And a Canaanite woman from that region came out and began to cry out, saying, "Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David; my daughter is cruelly demon-possessed."
Matt 15:23; But He did not answer her a word. And His disciples came and implored Him, saying, "Send her away, because she keeps shouting at us."
Matt 15:24; But He answered and said, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel."

Apparently, she wasn't a part of "the house of Israel".

How about the faith of a gentile solder whom Jesus said was the greatest faith he has ever seen!!

Mat 8:8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.
Mat 8:9 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
Mat 8:10 When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

Mat 8:13 And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.

My point is that the people mentioned are NOT Christians. They were in the OT dispensation before the cross. They do not have faith like we do.

If we did not have faith we would not be Christian.

Can you see that?

We are believers by faith.

We have faith. And yet some TV healing evangelist ask us to have faith as if we don't. - really?

So, you think Jesus lied when he mentioned their faith as a cause for their healings?

If that was really so - we would not need soo many doctors or hospitals or pharmacies or therapists or charity outlets etc. near Churches.
