Why was GOD scared of Satan?

what born again believer would ever write such a title as this thread? only a person who does not fear God would right such foolishness.,

There were no rainbows before The Flood because rainbows need direct sunlight, water droplets and a dark cloud background. None of those were available before the flood.
there were no rainbows before the great flood..? i think thats a stretch to claim there was no light nor water on earth, how did the people pre-flood survive, let alone virtually all creatures on earth?
im gonna disagree.

Once again you show you are one of the so-called Christians who cannot understand the written word in the Bible nor my words.
I did not say there was no light or water as even you should be able to read Genesis and read GOD created Earth as a ball of water and basic elements and light being created during Creation Week.
No wonder The Great Donald says US education is a disgrace!

You are another who lacks basic understanding.
Go back to my OP and maybe all will come clear.

You obviously lack the wisdom, knowledge and discernment offered by holy spirit which is why you cannot accept Satan rules the world and will do until Jesus returns soon.
Thank you for admitting that you don't actually believe the scripture as written.

But most all, like yourself, are wrapped up in the religious fairy tale they tell themselves.

But out in the real world Matt 28 clearly means...
And there we have it. Your belief that scripture cannot mean what it says, and so needs YOU to tell us that it means something else. And so begins the religious fairy tale that you tell yourself and demand that others believe.

Your "real world" exists because Christians don't abide the simple truths that Jesus said.

John 12:31; Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.
You post this with blind eyes. NOW, not in the future. The prince of this world was cast out, and your unbelief is evident even as you reject the scriptures that you yourself post.

Utterly amazing.

As I've proven in a number of posts, Paul would have had no problem using the name Satan if he meant Satan. He did so THREE times in Second Corinthians. To the readers of Paul's epistles, the "god of this world" was the Roman Emperor who demanded that all Roman subjects worship in accordance with Roman law, thereby blinding their minds at the threat of torture and execution.

But you wish to live in your religious fantasy bubble (and change the meaning of Jesus' words).

Try read this and maybe the scales will fall from your eyes and your mind will understand that Satan is still ruling Earth: When will Satan be defeated? | GotQuestions.org
I don't read from a website that is thoroughly riddled and infected with heresies, like worms though an apple.

Satan will be defeated when the true disciples of Jesus stop rejecting the scriptures and walk in the power as they should.

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
- Acts 1:8 KJV

Yet the Greek word μάρτυς doesn't mean "witnesses" but "one who settles a matter with his words." I'd post the entry from the Cambridge Greek Lexicon, but why should I waste the time if such falls on deaf ears?

GOD clearly gave Satan one thousand years for each day of Creation to try rule Earth
And the fiction continues on, and on, and on.

Rhema
You haven't a clue. Did you spend your youth as a Mormon?

.
I spent my youth learning to read Koine Greek so I never had to deal with translations or interpretations made by ridiculous people.
Now we would be mocked with a snippet of Rhema's CV (in reality, his MO).

Rather, "I spent my youth learning to read" the Holy Bible "so I never had to deal with" such self-absorbed wannabee 'scholars' and misleaders of men.

Academic credentials have never been God's criteria for using a person. Moses did not go to Desert State for forty years.

Truth is independent of who presents it. Paul said in 1 Corinthians 4:3-4, "it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man's judgment...he that judgeth me is the Lord." The callers to the "Answer Man" program are calling the wrong source. God said in Jeremiah 33:3, "Call unto me, and I will answer thee." God is the "Answer Man."

God warns us in Psalm 62:9, "men of high degree are a lie." The church is dying by degrees, with men going to seminary before they've been to the altar. The only D.D.s in the Bible are the "dumb dogs, they cannot bark" (Isa. 56:10), but speak "smooth things" (Isa. 30:10) to mausoleums of "dead men's bones" (Matt. 23:27). God's comment about scholars is in Malachi 2:8, 12. He says the scholar "caused many to stumble," and "corrupted the covenant." Today, scholars are creating new versions that corrupt the Old and New Testaments, as Rhema has been shown previously.

To whom will God reveal knowledge? Isaiah 66:2 says, "to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word." If the new version proponents such as Rhema, or the new version editors "tremble" at God's word, then the Lord will reveal something to them. If they don't "tremble," it does not matter if they have a Ph.D., a Th.D., or a D.D. or are a Greek geek, the words of knowledge are going to be "hid" from them (Luke 10:21). (Because God is silent toward those who do not tremble at his word, such men are forced to scour man-made commentaries and lexicons and "study Greek" to pretend they have something to say.)

According to Romans 8:29, we are going "to be conformed to the image of his Son." But recall that while he was here on earth "his visage was so marred more than any man" (Isa. 52:14). So we can expect this same genre of religious leaders, who turned Jesus Christ over to the soldiers for abuse, to mar the image of anyone who looks to Jesus Christ for authority and not to them.

Given your propensity to mock, it doesn't surprise me that your god would do so as well.
That's because my God is evidently not your god. Again, here's what my God says about what awaits you and your Greek god:

I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh (Pro. 1:26).

You've never read the Bible, bNf. Ever. You've only read translations, and are therefor completely dependent on your scholars and misleaders of men. You show fear and insecurity when confronted with how the Greek text of the NT actually reads. And since you don't know Greek, are way out of your depth in such discussions.

All ya got is ad hominem, and your words have no effect on me. Your god mocks, and you are a mocker after him.

That's because my God is evidently not your god.
And thanks be to God for THAT.

Your laughing god who likes to instill fear:

I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;
- Proverbs 1:26 KJV

My God, of which I have no fear:

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
- 1 John 4:18 KJV

All your conspiracy posts show a lot of fear within you.

You'd best deal with your own problems.

God said in Jeremiah 33:3,
Peradventure they will hear, and turn every one from his evil way: then I will cease from the evils which I purpose to do to them, because of their evil practices.
- Jeremiah 33:3 Brenton

I would pray that you turn from your evil way.

Cry to me, and I will answer thee, and I will declare to thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
- Jeremiah 40:3 Brenton

And I think you need to cry harder.

Enough.

Any further back-and-forth will result in pruning the thread and locking it to prevent responses from the culprits. (backNforth & Rhema)

Although entertaining, I am sure the originator of the thread would appreciate it if the barbs you are slinging at each other would be taken elsewhere.

With the Love of Christ Jesus.

[re: John 12:31] You post this with blind eyes. NOW, not in the future. The prince of this world was cast out, and your unbelief is evident even as you reject the scriptures that you yourself post.
Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.” (John 12:31)

Now...shall be...

Context: Jesus is foretelling his own death here in this entire passage (v. 27 and onward) i.e. it is obviously future.

"now" (nyn) frequently denotes a somewhat extended portion of present time as opposed to a former state of things. Sometimes nyn with the present is used of what will occur forthwith or soon (e.g. Luke 2:29; John 12:31; John 16:5; John 17:13; Acts 26:17). Sometimes nyn with a future, of those future things which are thought of as already begun to be done (e.g. John 12:31). (source)

And I'm quite familiar with the word "shall" used here (ekballō), in a deliverance ministry, as it is the same word Jesus used when casting out devils.

Conversely, Rhema's "was" is found only in his copyrighted book (e.g. ESV), an owned-by-men version of the Holy Bible. And, as a result of its use, he has been misled him on the meaning of this passage. His tendency to trust other sources outside of the Holy Bible, and to isolate scripture, is concerning. Further, the rush to judge another (ala "you reject the scriptures"), particularly when such charge is based upon a false premise (i.e. man's "was" vs. scripture's future shall be), is a trap for inexperienced players.
