you all seem to be saying either God revealed Himself to you or you had an experience of Him, but why did you decide that the God being revealed is the God of the Bible?
In my case, the one who revealed himself to me never contradicted what was written, when I finally got to read the bible. I had walked with this God for 5 years before the introduction to the written word and him as God.
