William Tyndale and John Gill On the Anti-Christ

There are several scriptures which contradict the teachings of dispensationalism. But a person has to know these scriptures and believe that they are truth, and have a strong desire to uphold the truth. The churches do not now teach scripture very well and have incorporated a mind-set from the world which opposes any absolute truth or absolute morality. This is called the dialectic mind-set. It comes from the Hegelian dialectic, but is the Marxist version of the dialectic, which is used for bring on basic change in society and culture.

These scriptures oppose dispensationalist doctrine:

Any Old Testament prophecy text saying that God was to transform Old Covenant Israel

Any scripture that says there is only one body of Christ or one fold.

Any text that says Christ took away the Old Covenant and established the New Covenant.

Any text that is in the language of metaphor.

Any scripture implying that non-Jews who were formerly alienated from Israel are brought into Israel by the blood of Christ

Any scripture saying that after the Cross Old Covenant Israel is no longer the people of God, and that there is now an Israel of God. The issue on Romans 11: 28 as seen by dispensationalists to support the doctrine that Old Covenant Israel of the flesh are still the chosen people is about the "two Israels" Paul talks about in Romans 9: 6-8. In Romans 11: 28 Old Covenant Israel of the flesh is an enemy of the Gospel of Christ. The Israel of God in Christ is beloved on account of the Fathers (pateras, plural). The Israel of God would be beloved also by God because they are his elect. Dispensationalism upholds the multitude in apostasy and fails to recognize the remnant in truth.

Any scripture saying that in Christ Jesus anyone, regardless of his DNA, can become the seed of Abraham and therefore the seed of God, saying, in effect, that the Old Covenant was done away with, including being God's chosen people because of that which is physical, Abraham's DNA. This was a shadow pointing to those who are born of Christ in them and of the Holy Spirit.

The reason these scriptures contradict dispensationalism is because it starts from the assumptions that all scripture must be interpreted literally, in its plain language, and never metaphorically, and that Old Covenant Israel of the flesh remains a people of God alongside the capital C Church.

From a certain perspective, it seems the whole purpose of this is to be "anti-Israel". It almost seems you are calling the Jews the antichrist.
Are the Jews believers in Christ right now? No, I would say as a nation they are not. But this is God's plan. He will bring them back.

Rom 11:1; I say then, God has not rejected His people, has He? May it never be! For I too am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
Rom 11:7; What then? What Israel is seeking, it has not obtained, but those who were chosen obtained it, and the rest were hardened;
Rom 11:8; just as it is written, "GOD GAVE THEM A SPIRIT OF STUPOR, EYES TO SEE NOT AND EARS TO HEAR NOT, DOWN TO THIS VERY DAY."
Rom 11:9; And David says, "LET THEIR TABLE BECOME A SNARE AND A TRAP, AND A STUMBLING BLOCK AND A RETRIBUTION TO THEM.
Rom 11:10; "LET THEIR EYES BE DARKENED TO SEE NOT, AND BEND THEIR BACKS FOREVER."
Rom 11:11; I say then, they did not stumble so as to fall, did they? May it never be! But by their transgression salvation has come to the Gentiles, to make them jealous.

Rom 11:25; For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery--so that you will not be wise in your own estimation--that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in;
Rom 11:26; and so all Israel will be saved; just as it is written, "THE DELIVERER WILL COME FROM ZION, HE WILL REMOVE UNGODLINESS FROM JACOB."
Rom 11:27; "THIS IS MY COVENANT WITH THEM, WHEN I TAKE AWAY THEIR SINS."
Rom 11:28; From the standpoint of the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but from the standpoint of God's choice they are beloved for the sake of the fathers;

All Israel will be saved. They may seem like our enemies right now, but they are still in God's plan.

Ha, that's funny! Now Apostle John was accusing ALL Jews by calling them antichrists???

Which of the Jews sought somewhat against my Lord Christ Jesus in order to murder Him? Those definitely were of the "many antichrists" John spoke of. But they were not the Antichrist person that's still to come for the end of this world which John said those had already heard shall come.

You're sounding like a broken record Tulsa with that Dispensationalist stuff you keep dwelling on. We're already way past that view, since it was a doctrine that begin with John Darby and the Pre-trib secret rapture theory that he started in 1830's Great Britain. Neither one of those Darby doctrines were had by the early Christian Church.

Romans 11 is a big battleground between dispenationalists and those who uphold the doctrines of the New Testament. To be consistent with their doctrine that Old Covenant Israel of the flesh is now the chosen people, dispensationalists would believe that the good olive tree of Romans 11 into which believing non-Jews are grafted in is Old Covenant Israel of the flesh. If this is so, would not this be talking themselves out of spiritual life in Christ? The good olive tree has to be the Israel of God with Christ as its root (Romans 11: 16) and believing non-Jews are grafted in among the remnant of Israel who believe.

Also, dispensationalists will argue against saying there is a spiritual Israel, but in doing so they are putting themselves outside an identity in Israel changed in Jesus Christ. Christ himself, not Old Covenant Israel, is the only way to eternal spiritual life in him, or salvation. And we gain this eternal spiritual life in Christ by having our spiritual condition changed by him coming into our minds, hearts and human spirits. We are made to sit with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6), something the literal and physical minded dispensatrionalists do not understand.

Dispensationalism is a tradition of men which tends to keep its followers in the spiritual condition of the natural man of I Corinthians 2: 14, who does not discern the things of the spirit. Being in the condition of the natural man and not knowing the Spirit or Christ in them, they almost always act out of their flesh, not out of Christ's leading. Christ's leading would cause them to want to know the truth.

In the parable of the salt in Matthew 5; 13 says "Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men."

We may think that "savour" merely refers to how salt gives food a better taste. But the Greek word behind savour is Strong's Exhaustive Concordance number 3471, moraino, from 3474, moros, "dull or stupid, as if to shut up, heedless, blockhead..." Moraino is a cognitive condition.

But Matthew 5: 13 is not just a prophecy saying that those who claim to be Christians, the capital C Church, will lose intelligence; it is also saying they will lose spiritual discernment. Christian Zionism - dispensationalism - has been in control of the majority of churches since sometime in the early and mid 20th century while the falling away of II Thessalonians 2: 3-7 has been going on, and while the churches have lost their "moraino," intelligence and spiritual discernment, which is led by the Spirit.

It is true that the Mega Church or Church Growth movement has brought in additional false doctrines from the world, such as using small groups who are led by "Christian" facilitators in the dialectic process. The term "facilitators" comes out of the encounter group movement of the sixties and seventies and behind that was the Group Dynamics movement which developed much of the theory and practice used by the encounter group people.

The Rick Warren mega church movement has also made use of secular promotional tactics to manipulate the beliefs of church members. The doctrine that scripture contains "essential" and "non-essential" texts is more overt in the mega church movement, something that immediately weakens the Gospel and any possible teaching on Christian morality. Part of what is meant by loss of salt in Matthew 5: 13 is that the church, largely under Christian Zionism, has lost influence on the morality of the secular society and culture. That happened many decades ago in the 20th century, for example with abortion. Abortion came out of the Eugenics movement and the motivation to control population growth. But abortion would not have become so massive and practiced on such a big scale 40 years earlier when Christianity had more influence on American moral behavior.

See: http://www.beggarscanbechoosers.com/2008/12/rick-warrens-hero-wa-criswell-also-used.html

"Rick Warren is a big fan of the late Southern Baptist pastor, W.A. Criswell (1909–2002). Warren once wrote, "In fact, I believe W.A. Criswell was the greatest American pastor of the 20th Century."

W.A. Criswell was a president of the Southern Baptist Convention. And he was regarded by many as a major figure behind the fundamentalist takeover of the Southern Baptist Convention, beginning in the 1960s. They called it "fundamentalism," which sort of meant Old Princeton Theology, a mix of Calvinism and dispensationalism. But the Southern Baptist Convention was taken over by dispensationmalists and W.A. Crisswell was one of the dispensationalists who took it over.

Rick Warren said that Crisswell developed "the most widely copied model" of church organization and ministry in America."

"He was not just a great preacher and a great theologian, this man was an organizational genius," Warren said. "He knew how to grow a church."

According to Rick Warren, the major figure in the Mega Church Growth Movement, W.A. Crisswell knew how to grow a church. So Crisswell, in Warren's view, is a father of the megachurch movement. And W.A. Crisswell was a Christian Zionist who helped take over the Southern Baptist Convention for Christian Zionism.

Under the leadership of Crisswell, at the 1988 Southern Baptist Convention meeting in
San Antonio, a resolution was passed critical of the Baptist belief in the "priesthood of the believer" and promoted the authority of the Baptist clergy over the doctrines of the church members. Crisswell told a group of pastors that "the man of God who is the pastor of the church is the ruler."

One support for the Priesthood of the Believer doctrine is I Peter 2: 9, where Peter says "Ye" are a...royal priesthood" referring to Christians.

The priesthood of the believer means that the believer has the authority from God to bring Christian doctrines and morality to the world - and also to be his own "priest" in interpreting the word of God. To be your own priest or preacher you must first know the truth from Scripture and have a strong love for it. Otherwise, the believer as priest simply accepts for himself some set of false doctrines and tries to make others believe the false doctrines.

Since Crisswell was a dispensationalist and dispensationalism is taught and maintained within a church system in which the preacher is the authority and rules over the beliefs of the members, he opposed the doctrine. In order for dispensationalists to promote and defend their doctrines, the basic of which is that Old Covenant Israel of the flesh is the chosen people now, they had to have an institutional church system in which the members are ruled over by the dispensationalist clergy. After some decades of conditioning church members on the basic doctrines of Christian Zionism, the younger members brought up on this tradition of men do not require as much control by the dfispensationalist clergy to stay in the belief system. Once in this man-made system of doctrines, it is not easy to get out of it. This is the strong delusion of II Thessalonians 2: 11 and the snare of Luke 21: 35.

Dispensationalism is a movement John Darby started in 1830's Great Britain, along with the Pre-trib secret rapture theory. One of the things Dispensationalism is to do is help prop up the Pre-trib rapture theory.

That is done by the un-Biblical claim that Christ will rapture His Church off the earth prior to the "great tribulation", while unbelieving Israel along with all other unbelievers are left behind. Then they believe Christ and His elect kings and priests will rule FROM HEAVEN over a restored kingdom of Israel of the flesh on earth during Christ's thousand years reign.

But what God's Word actually teaches on the matter is that God's Israel through Christ Jesus, made up of both believers of Israel and believers of the Gentiles, will be established on earth in the holy city to reign over the nations during His thousand years reign. They will also rule over the unbelievers of Israel in that future time, as unbelieving Israel will still be saved, but will bear their shame during the thousand years (Ezekiel 44).

The name 'Israel' means those who prevail with God's help. It is a name God early on attached to His Birthright Promise of Salvation first given through Abraham. It wasn't given until the days of Jacob though, whom God gave that name to, but Jacob inherited the Promise by Faith from his father Isaac, which Isaac inherited that Promise from Abraham.

That Birthright Promise then was inherited by Joseph, and then in final wound upon Joseph's two sons Ephraim and Manasseh (per 1 Chronicles 5). That Birthright Promise includes The Gospel of Jesus Christ, and is given to the Gentiles also after the passion of Christ.
