Women: Modest Dress

I completly agree with what you all are saying, so many girls are dressing inappropriatly and are showing things that we shouldn't see. But please still try to remember that not all teenage girls are like that. I try to be very careful about it and I don't think all teenage girls need to be lumped in one group. I just wish more of the girls claiming to be Christians would see that how they are dressing is wrong.

i agree with you, not ALL teenagers dress inappropriately but we do need to be cautious with what we do wear.

Lets model kindness, not just clothing.

Mahatma Ghandi

Be the change you want to see in the world. ?????

Well that is a typical rebellious humanistic self centered statement.

As Christians we don't try to get what change "WE want to see", we are committed to Changes GOD wants in US.

Our Father who is in Heaven Holy be thy Name
Thy kingdom come, Thy Will be Done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Sorry but you are quoting a Hindu who had no insight into what God desires for His Children. I'm not against secular quotes as some of them are based on Godly wisdom but this one is certainly NOT!

As Believers, people who have repented and recieved Christ we are not longer self-centered and self-willed but Christ centered and desire God's Will in our lives.

Oh MelodyC, don't you think you're being just a little harsh here with Dannibear?

From what I read, Dannibear appears to be highlighting how we should lead by example...seems like wisdom to me.

Dressing with modesty is great and definitely the way to go...

Being gentle and full of grace when correcting others and as the need arises really is the better way to go too, I'm thinking?

God bless you both MelodyC and Dannibear! :)
