Your fav. nonfic Christian books?

Indeed everything related to T Austin Sparks is worth reading jiggyfly

Yes, I have benefited from T.A.S. so much. Even though the grammar of his books are a little dated, there are very, very few today, who's teachings are Christ centered.

Yes, and his vision of the Body of Christ as the fullness of Christ, and clear apprehension of our identification with Christ's death and resurrection are outstanding.

I should add a few:

The Spirit of Christ, The Holy of Holies, and With Christ in the School of Prayer by Andrew Murray
Autobiography of Madame Guyon, Spiritual Torrents and Song of Songs by Madame Guyon
The Song of Songs by Watchman Nee

Life and Death-Frank Michael
Anthills of The Savanna-Chinua Achebe
Cool books they are.

I would suggest reading WITNESSING TO DRACULA: a memoir of ministry in Romania by Billy Ng. An absolutely fabulous book on ministry.

Movies

TIME CHANGER is a movie that shows how much the church has changed in 100 years. Great for all the family.

FAITH LIKE POTATOES is a great family movie.

SHADOWLANDS this is the true story of C. S. Lewis and his marriage, his wife with cancer.

I have really enjoyed reading books by John Bevere, and I also love Joyce Meyer's preaching/books as well.

The reformed pastor---Richard Baxter
Bruchko----Bruce Olson
Peace Child---Don Richardson
Cross and Switchblade---David Wilkerson
News letters---David Wilkerson

Happy

End of the Spear. I remember when these missionaries were killed, and it was a profound shock to my childhood church. The grief was wide spread from east to west in the US.

Amazing Grace is a touching film. The story of where the song came from is so wonderful. I have visited places where the Civil War was fought, and we live in an area where there might well have been either side camping out on their way to battle. This film brings to light how evil slavery is. What's even a deeper wound to humanity is slavery is still active today in some parts of the world.:secret:

Besides The Bible which is my all time favorite nonfiction book...lol! I also like

Diana and John Hagee's What every woman wants in a man and what every man wants in a woman...He and His wife both wrote this book and its really good.

Also like Lester Sumrall's The Names of God..it talks of the many names Our Lord goes by in the bible and what each name means..another really good book

I also like joyce myer too...haven't read a book by her in a long while but I find her to be very insperational and uplifting when I do read her books.
