video 10 Reasons Racism is Offensive to God

Nice thought's Hekuran. Like us believers all people need to become accountable to self as well as to each other.The reality for much of the race problem,stems from the fact that most people only care about self. People of color upset with white people for always having our eyes upon them when they come to a store or anywhere for that matter for the most part is not due to race but rather action. Over 95 percent of the looters were of color,and they ask why some of the white people are so hard on us?

If the black community would take care of there own, some white people would not always look to judge on appearance alone.Its not fair!! I understand! Why did not the peaceful protests people not go after those who were misrepresenting them?? The peaceful group have every right to be angry and upset! I am upset at what I saw and happened! 4 Cops have been killed during this,but who cares about them?

Not the media for the most part! And sure not most of the protesters because they are to busy for there own cause. The truth of this problem lies within each person. Real bellievers understand there foundation!!( Rom 8:14-15) Real believers are doers not just hearers. ( James 1:22) And real believers are accountable to self and look to give grace to others.( John 13:34-35 and 2Peter 3:18).

The world has no concept,hence why we are aliens here to start with.( 1 Peter 2:11-17) These are the things people need to talk about in order to bring truth and healing to all. Unfortunaly this will never happen. As long as people of all colors are on the same earth,there will always be conflict of some nature. But the hardcore point lies in each one of us!! Jesus asked who do you say that I am? ( Luke 9:20 among others places) Who do we say we are? Just something to consider brothers and sisters.

Bother Paul, nothing is said in scripture as to the appearance of Adam and Eve. I do not buy the theory that within Adam and Eve were all the genes to produce all “kinds” of human diversity, anymore than I buy the Big Bang theory. God created all “kinds” of plants, animals, birds, fishes... God personally and intimately fashioned every living creature, every mineral, every grain of sand, every known element, even bacteria. Can two Chinese produce one black? Can two black produce one white? Can two white produce one brown? The answer is no. In the natural world, one kind produces the same kind. Zebras produce zebras. Zebras do not produce donkeys or horses. The same applies in mankind. The only explanation of how mankind became diverse kinds has to be an act of God. The miracle of Babel changed mankind to multiple diverse kinds - each with a new appearance, language and culture. These new tribes scattered amongst the earth became the diverse nations of the world. This miracle made Satan’s job more difficult to unify man to build his kingdom. Satan devised racism and war to slowly bring mankind back together. Some 4,500 years latter, here we are at the steps of Babel, rebuilding its glory as the global new world order. Building Satan’s kingdom of one political/economic/religious system. Interesting how COVID-19 has become the mortar to solidify this new Tower of Babel who’s global theme song is “We are all in this together.”

True...it does not say anything about appearance but the forms (the physical bodies) of humans after Adam and Eve are by pro-creation (be fruitful and multiply)... the Lord may shape the soul or spirit-man within but the body is of the seed of its predecessors. God sis not make Abel and Cain's body, Adam and Eve did...Seth was made in the image of Adam...the body named Jesus of the seed of the woman named Mary. Mendel, a Bible believing Christian, did not even know of "the theory of evolution" when he discovered allele transmission so do not confuse the two. Allele transmission (Chromosomes from each parent) are the Natural law that God put into play.

The reason I gave the post was because so many people mistakenly automatically think of Adam and Eve as European looking Caucasians....

Yes! repent, tell the truth. Totally agree.

I've got a couple of suggestions to throw out. It's based on my conviction that the church should be an exemplar, a witness to the world, of healthy community that embraces all cultures, races and classes in all their marvellous diversity. heplful? realistic? naive?

First, we should learn to listen and understand the experiences and perspectives of people from different backgrounds to us. Invest in conversations with people from different races, asking thoughtful questions: 'tell me what does it feel like to you to see this week's news?' or 'what do you think people from my background fail to understand about your experience?'

Second, invest in relationships with people -- fellow christians especially -- who are different to us. Slave or free, Greek or Jew. Our unity in Christ is far greater than any superficial divisons.

Third, use whatever influence you have to push for healthier multicultural church. Ask your leaders awkward questions: 'Do you have a target for racial diversity in your church leadership?' or 'do you track which groups get to hold the mike in church services?' 'Is there a plan for change, does it have targets and a timescale?' 'When did you last discuss this in leadership meetings?'

Follow up the awkwardness with a commitment to make a difference and to support leaders in whatever way you can.

---

Imagine in 15 years time the same outrage bursts out that we've seen in the past few weeks. But this time, a fully diverse represetative church can stand as one both calling out the evil, and demonstrating how to heal divisions and to live together.
My father was Polish, born in Chicago, and was raised Old World, my mother was Irish/European, open and loving. I was born and raised in Newport Beach/Costa Mesa, CA in 1962 - a world totally unlike today. My father spoke fluent Polish and English but taught his 9 kids nothing of our Polish culture. He said “we are in America and we are American”. Every Saturday night we had tacos for dinner. My dad’s best friend at McDonald Douglas aircraft where he assembled airplanes was Mexican. When I went to school, mostly in Irvine, I had no idea what was diversity was. Everyone was white.

When I entered the work force I met Mexicans and I had many Mexican friends. I love the Mexican people. Most are hard workers, humble and socially happy. Even their music is happy. I can see that Mexicans clearly had a culture, something us white people in America didn’t have.

At my current job, my company is super diverse. Yet sadly, I only know a few of the 1000 employees. Everyone is isolated in their cubicles, except now, we are isolated at home. 5 years ago when I started we had an amazing team spirit and I felt honored to be there. I looked for every opportunity to invite the Spirit of Jesus into our corporate communications and employee functions, and at first it was well received. Now that spirit is gone as the company is concentrating more on growth and it has become a cold environment. The whole world is becoming colder as people become more divided.

My best friend of 4 years is from Persia. He has opened my eyes to life outside America and to different cultures.

My point is that you have to go where the Spirit leads you. Wait upon the Lord and let Him open the doors. He will direct your path and give you the words to say.

Jesus said follow me. The more you follow Jesus the more you will be like Him. The old saying- if you want a friend, be a friend.

What everyone in the world needs is genuine friends. A friend is one who listens, encourages, shares, rebukes, leads, follows and laughs with you.

That is the challenge today- to be genuine, and to genuinely serve and honor God, not self. If you allow self to lead, you will fail.

Didn't intend the thoughts to be nice. I wanted to rattle the church's general complacency. Do you think God might be calling you to do something more or something different? What might that be?

( Rom 13:11-14) I have been called by the Lord as this brother, to ring the bell for those who claim to be believers. ( 2 Cor 13:5-8) So before I speak to the people,the people need to see, grace,love compassion,and the ability to reason with others! The Word of God to me is walky, talky. I did not wish to offend you bro, and the truth result of love is restoration!( Gal 6:1)

This is the message Jesus sent me to do for his people. The point to the believer is for whatever part of the body of Christ we may become,we are working parts!! And for those we see who are not working,we do not point,we show them,let them decide. we no longer wonder about our purpose,we in faith do as we are led to our purpose.( John 13:34-35)

I am less that two years off eighty. When I was sixteen, there were race riots in Brixton, a London suberb, I was in transit to return to my army camp, (I was a boy soldier). I had no issues with black people and so I decided to go to Brixton and show solidarity. When I arrived in Brixton, I went into a cafe run by Jamaicans, I ordered a cup of tea and was made to sit on the floor to drink it. So much for solidarity. Many years later I was asked by a Christian friend to pick up his daughter in Peckham, another suberb of London, when I arrived there, the multistorey buildings all looked the same and so I approached a white lady to ask the way, she ran from me without waiting for my request. There were a group of black youths approaching, so I approached them for directions. They stood menacingly and eventually sent me to the wrong block. I have never held any animosity toward any race, but daily, I, as are all white people in my country, held to account by black people for all the misdemeanours ever perpetrated against them. This is not only by the rank and file, this is also by black politicians who lead elitist lives. We are told by these elitist black politicians who live in the choicest areas of our cities, that black people are restricted in progressing in this country. When I look at the rough sleepers, I see far more white people than black. When I look at the amount of black people who are queing to enter our 'racist' country I am astounded that they wish to come to such a racist place. Over the years these constant attacks on my countrymen and myself is beginning to hardened my heart toward these people who I have never held bad feelings against. I would say, there is far more racism from black to white in this country, than white to black and it is eroding the good will that has always existed between the British and the imigrant comunity. I find this so sad.
I'm in Brixton most weeks and in normal times I cycle through Peckham twice a day. Yes, there are racist attitudes on all sides, but I know from my conversations with friends from all parts of society that in the UK people from African, Asian and Caribbean backgrounds have much bleaker propects than white Europeans.

I was appalled at the treatment of people who have lived all their adult lives in the UK at the way the 'hostile environment' policy made their lives a misery of uncertainty. Helping some of my friends and fellow church members to write letters justifying their presence in the UK was hearbreaking.

Thanks for the reply. I'm afraid I'm not following your answer though. Are you rebuking me, or explaining why my comments are misjudged? Regardless, I assure you I've not been offended. I'd be very happy to continue the conversation, but confess that at this point I'm at a loss.

Greeting Trevor

It just goes to show life is not black and white, but it is light and darkness brother that is clear to see everywhere.

Bless you

Hekuran no rebuke at all! You made some fine points as well!! I was just piggy backing off of what you said,I just added a bit more blunt is all bro. LOL

I am trying to figure out how this thread is addressing "racism". So far it seems it is directed, "Black race and White race"! But In America for the last few years, It has been "racist acts of Law enforcement against "the black race, especially black men". For in the protest against such actions, walking and marching and looting are people of all races protesting of the injustice! Look at the video's the groups are mix, white people and black people walking and hugging hand in hand! So what am I saying here is, it seems like some of us are fueling "Racism" by riding the back of the current events that is happening in the "USA" concerning Law enforcement against black men. At this point, it is not "white against black or black against white. But you are trying very hard to make it so.
If this is what we are doing, we are nothing more than a mere "Racist" instigators against the "Black & White" race of people! And in pure form " a Racist" and not knowing it, yet calling ourselves "Christ Like"! And still yet not understanding " The Samaritan Story" the man that stop along side of the road" nor understood, why Jesus took the long way through "Samaria' to Jerusalem" and unfolded the true identity of the Temple in Jerusalem. but only know in "Elementary Form".

If we are to talk about "racism" lets talk about it. Police officers are killing White men too! But when it comes to Black men it seems it is open season, just because they are black and who really cares! They are no more than angry men, that cannot forget the past injustices of all sorts. Is this the kind of thoughts in Black men, that has fuel such hatred.

But let me end with this, We all suffer, no matter what tribe or color on this earth, racism runs wild even within the "Races", pain knows no color, mental pain, the pain of jealousies, the pain of lost ones, the pains of abandonments, the pains of betrayal of a husband, a wife, the lost of a child, by all sorts of death,. And the pain of someone judging you and hating you and looking at you with distain just because you are "Black'! the very Color "God has made you" and people think you are cursed just because God made you Black. But here comes the Power of Being a Christian in the garment of Black skin:

(Isaiah 53).

He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him,
nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.
3He was despised and rejected by mankind,
a man of suffering, and familiar with pain.
Like one from whom people hide their faces
he was despised, and we held him in low esteem.
4Surely he took up our pain
and bore our suffering,
yet we considered him punished by God,
stricken by him, and afflicted.
5But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
6We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
each of us has turned to our own way;
and the Lord has laid on him
the iniquity of us all.
7He was oppressed and afflicted,
yet he did not open his mouth;
he was led like a lamb to the slaughter,
and as a sheep before its shearers is silent,
so he did not open his mouth.
8By oppression a and judgment he was taken away.
Yet who of his generation protested?

This world does not discriminate in the form of color or race, people do. Storms, snakes, fire, wind, cold, heart attacks, strokes, blindness, and the Devil do not discriminate even against "Indigenous People"!

Things will not get right upon this earth until "He Reigns as Prophecy has declared" ! For this event is yet to come.

(Isaiah 11).
And He will not judge by what His eyes see,
Nor make a decision by what His ears hear;

4But with righteousness He will judge the poor,
And decide with fairness for the afflicted of the earth;
And He will strike the earth with the rod of His mouth,
And with the breath of His lips He will slay the wicked.

So, i think that a added problem is when some people commit Crimes they get "community service" with paid leave and others receive "felonies" and "prison", "Known fact", others become "community workers" with benefits, then other ones, become "criminals" with welfare benefits!

These are know fact!

But Jesus is going to stop this! The high officials in His Kingdom, are going to be different! For He will RULE with a "IRON Scepter"! Because in this world those who belong to the "Poor" race has been discriminated against! Even if they know it or don't! The puppet masters will cease to be, in charge, with discrimination!

We all need the "True Gospel of Jesus Christ" and not the programs that the Institutional Churches are dishing out! The programs the committees, are get rich programs! We need the True Gospel, to endure the "pain" until the time has Come, when God has said: "It IS Enough". Then every tear you have shed will come to light, and I got news for some, there are Black men who cry, in solitude, because of the Injustices that has been directed against them for being black, and as the Psalmist has declared , God keeps every tear in a bottle, [and every lash of word that struct you by lip upon you back just because of the color of your skin.]

(Psalms 56) NLT.
8You keep track of all my sorrows.b
You have collected all my tears in your bottle.
You have recorded each one in your book.

It is for a reason.

Sorry for "This little book".

Black and white is based in racism. Humanity spans the entire spectrum ..

When I was in France Hekuran, I had bleaker prospects than the French. When I was in Spain I had bleaker prospects than the Spanish. In any country the ethnic minorities have bleaker prospects than the indigenous comunities, that is natural. However I have heard many black guys who wouldn't wish to live anywhere but the UK, because they used the facilities available, succeeded in their chosen fields, and live successful lives. As for the police, I have been locked up in my life and lived on the wrong side of the law. In my youth I stole and payed the price. In later life I was, and still am, a street person earning my living from street music. Street music isn't illegal, but it does often bring one in close contact with the police, I have to say that throughout my life, whenever I have had run-ins with the law, I have never been mistreated and I believe it is because I have always treated them with respect. Many of my busker friends have been mistreated, but if you call a policeman a pig, you shouldn't be surprised if he acts like one. As for the Windrush generation, I don't know too much about it, but I have heard that many didn't have papers. And without papers, that I heard many did bother to get and so had no trouble, it is understandable that there could be problems.

Please explain: "Black and white is based in racism: " in layman terms.

Well to begin with, there are no people that are black, and though some albinos like my African American friend Priscilla are very white-ish we are variations on a theme (His theme).. The most common skin tone is a light brownish tinge found the world over. Racism is not the same as ethnic preference or xenophobia, it is a socio-economic categorization distinguished for reasons of control and economic benefit, We are all just people (the same species with varying levels of melanin). The Caucasians of Europe after assuming authority over the world (one of whom I am) believed themselves to be of God, thus entitled to rule over all others (it is an extension of the Roman Empire)...we practiced take over as a way of life (colonialism, imperialism, and many other isms). They believed all the Bibles people were white people and even our Daddy (the Father) was envisioned as an old white man sitting in Heaven (white hair and beard and so on). Since in their thinking white was closest to God it stood to reason that the further one was from whiteness the further away from God they were. The only reason we think in these terms is because of the generations of brainwashing we have received from this society that is under the Devils authority.

I heard of a dialogue between a white man and a black man. The white man referred to the black man as coloured. The black man put him straight, "if I am sick, I am black, if I am cold, I am black, if I am hot, I am black. If you are sick you turn green, if you are cold you turn blue, if you are hot you turn red, and you call me coloured.

Ok. Great. Now, what are we going to do about it?

What are we going to do about the racism that is an offence to the God who made every one us a bearer of his image. The racism that blights the lives of millions.

Well for us (hose with the Spirit of Christ actually in them)) we just need to love one another as he loved us....Mahatma Ghandi once said it best, he said if Christians acted like Jesus he would become one...on his time many leaders and others wore the name tag,,,who knows maybe they took a bath or said some magic prayer or their family tradition was always Christian....but clearly like the five unwise virgins they had no oil in their lamps and their wicks had never been trimmed....they may even have gone to church and dome all the churchianity things but they never restrained themselves from their worldly evil and never actually had the HOLY Spirit...and in the end Jesus will say unto all of them "I NEVER knew you!"

Agreed. Find it difficult to imagine Ghandi looking at the state of us today and being convinced to turn to Jesus though. What do you think the first practical steps might be?
