Good words here my friend! God is always looking at people's hearts. We consider the following words of Jesus:
"Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?" John 11:25-26
I do not believe a person must know the name, J.E.S.U.S., in order to believe in Him. They are to believe in what Jesus is, and many who know his name, still do not really know who He is. This is especially true for people living in countries with little or no access to Bibles or to computers. We must use what we have been given and God judges accordingly. Some U.S. citizens in particular may come up short with God because they had so much in education, time, money, housing, etc. and yet they wasted so much of what they had on the foolishness of men rather putting a bit more on God's side of the balance. After all that we have came from God. Recall what David said about himself and his people:
"But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee."I Chron 29:14
And then combine that with Jesus's words here:
"But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more." Luke 12:48
Jesus came and was throughout His short span of years here quite selfless. To be like Jesus we must move from the selfishness in ourselves to the selflessness He manifested as a man. This is God's desire, but many who bear the label Christian remain very selfish. Me and mine first, and then if some crumbs remain perhaps some for others who are in desperate need.
